I hope the same hate for FBS football that exists on AGS, mostly as a function of Ralph's neuroses and FCS jingoism, does not exist here. FBS games are fun, tailgating, the crowd, larger atmosphere, etc.

D1B and I have been talking for a couple of years about attending some famous FBS games, one each year, for example, ND/Mich, UCLA/USC, Nebraska v someone, Florida/Georgia, etc. Talked, too, about hitting a game in each Big Ten venue. Me, I've been to games at Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin. D1B's been to a few less in that conference. Also saw Michigan Stae beat ND @ ND.

We decided a while ago to try and make UCLA/USC this year. Will be expensive, but I gotta see that game.

No FBS hate here. Many of us are fans of both.

Illinois is a nice place for a game as well - had season tickets when I went there.

I have seen multiple games in the Rose Bowl - something you should do.

Also been to a game at Southern Cal, and of course at Arizona State.

I'd like to tailgate and see an SEC game someday, just to experience it. Florida/Georgia wouyld be my first choice.
I'd also like to see Ohio State/Michigan just to experience the rivalry.
Army/Navy is also on my list.

It is one of my few life dreams to see a UM/OSU game...or just a game at The Big House period.

Nothing like football in the south... haven't been to an FCS game down here (well... southern played UGA so that kind of counts right?) but I can tell from these Appy, Southern, Cid, etc posters that it's pretty much the same across the board. UGA v UF gets most of the hype as the biggest game every year in the SEC... it may be, but there are some other rivals that are bigger and more heated. The tailgate at the "The Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" is great... but I feel like some of the air is taken out of it and the game because it's at a neutral site. The games seem more intense in the SEC when played at home stadiums.

I grew up in a household where my mom's side of the family pulled for Alabama and my dad's Tennessee.

I got to go to some great SEC games growing up... 1992 Sugar Bowl, 1998 Fiesta Bowl, SEC Championships games in Atlanta and Birmingham (including the first one in ever in '92), been to every SEC stadium except Mississippi State.

The Iron Bowls at Birmingham were the some of the best games I ever attended... it sucks that Legion Field is now a sh!thole and the Iron Bowl is no longer held at a neutral stadium... but, oh well.

Nebraska/Oklahoma in Lincoln or Nebraska/Colorado in Boulder are great games.

My law partner is a Michigan alum. We've seen UM against Wisconsin and Michigan in recent years, and we may truck on out there for the Del State game this year!

FBS games are fun. I've been to games at Michigan (not sure this counts, because it was the App game), Michigan State and UNC. I plan on going to see a game at Tennessee in the next few years, since Knoxville is only a couple of hours away.

If I ever win the lottery I plan to spend a couple of years hitting a different big game or big time stadium every Saturday.

Worst FBS tailgating is Baylor. No alcohol allowed. Been to a few games there. Had a lot of fun when the played Texas A&M a few years back.

It would just be nice for FBS to have a fucking playoff and get out of the dark ages. Fucking greedy bastards.

D,
With the Griz Challenge @ NAU, if Grizo lets us go, we may have to look at a closer game, like Illinois v someone. Haven't been there yet, you?

I have been to many games in Champaign - back when I was a student there (for two football seasons) I had season tickets :)

I must be the exception to the rule over at AGS. Weird. ;)
