Rooting for Missouri. One of their star pitchers played with my daughter in 5-8th grade. She was throwing serious heat as a 7th grader that she could have made many college starting rotations. Many games the other team would have to cheer foul tips because that's all they could touch.

Disgusting that Northwestern and Kentucky get in with their crap records and Sac State is out...particularly given the embarrassment coming out of the MVC....

Sac State went 28-26. Idaho State went 34-18 and was regular season champ - in the unlikely event the BSC got an at-large, they would get the at-large.
Reality to SH - please answer.

Now you know how the rest of the MBB basketball world feels about your shitty basketball programs getting in with shit records while the rest of us are sitting around with 23-26 win seasons just praying something crazy happens on selection Sunday.

Oh, and ISUb ended up winning the autobid. It's not like they were an at large selection.

I don't recall the teams playing, but softball was on one of the TVs Saturday afternoon when I was having lunch with my sons at the sports bar.
I was amazed at how few overt lesbians are playing nowadays. I'd say a solid 80% of the chicks that were playing like to suck cock. And they were hot and wearing very form-fitting stretch pants. Not the bull dyke safari shorts and stirrups and knee high socks like in the past.
Progress!

I just like the fact that Longwood, with about 1/70 the cash as Va. Tech, beat the Hokies!!

I never said a word about ISUb getting in. I'm fully aware that they got the autobid. They beat us in the tournament final. My point was that ECB/power conference politics dictates that P5 schools with crap records get in before other programs. Stupid....

So much hate.
I only see NC State in that bracket. Unless you consider Purple Ribbon Throwers part of the power conference politic.

You brought up the MVC...

Unless Indiana State is no longer an MVC team...

IN State is exactly my point. The Committee had no choice but to take them with their losing record because they got their autobid. Fine. When it came time to distribute at-larges, P5s with crap records almost always get in over small conference schools with similar or better records. Give the have-nots a chance for a change....

I still fail to see what ISUb has to do with your shitty program not getting a bid.
Your record was complete shit playing shit SOS. Their record might also be shit, but they played better teams. I'd best most SEC or B12 softball teams curb stomp every Big Sky team 9 of 10 times.
Same reason the MEAC, Big South, OVC, etc... don't get as many bids ( or shouldn't) as the MVFC

It's not just us, clenzy. We're just an example. Six Sun Belt programs notched 30 wins or better this season, but only two got in. Even Georgia State with 38 wins was snubbed. Kent State in the MAC with 41 wins wasn't invited. San Jose State won 37 games, but didn't get in. Tulsa had 36 wins, but nary a bid. Marshall (35 wins), UTSA (36 wins), Alabama-Birmingham (32 wins), and LA Tech (31 wins) all got no votes. Bucknell had 35 wins, but no dance ticket. Hofstra (38 wins), Elon (31 wins), and Towson State (35 wins) were ignored. St. Francis had 31 wins but no invite. CCU (33 wins) and Chuck South (31 wins) no go. Drake (32 wins), SW MO State (30 wins), and Wichita State (34 wins) not looked at. SIU-Evansville (43 wins), Jax State and Murray Stae (38 wins each) locked out. Samford (33 wins), Mercer (37 wins), and Furman (31 wins) sent home. NW State (36 wins), McNeese State (36 wins), and UCA (35 wins) get no love.
This gets back to the same old hoops argument. Should middle-of-the-road P5 teams get the nod over top-tier (within conference) G5/FCS programs simply because of internal SOS? All that says is that P5 gets to say "we rule, so shut up." The immediate impact is that G5/FCS programs are refused P5 games, and are then told that their "low octane" SOS is their own fault. This double standard has gone on way too long, and it must stop....

You'd have a point IF your league champ actually did anyting in the tourney. Weber going 0-2 and not scoring a run.... why exactly does your conference second or third bid (Idaho State > Sac St)??

Again, it's like the Pioneer, Patriot, Ohio Valley, Big South (sans one run by CCU) or MEAC crying that they don't get more bids in the playoffs. Until you consistently show you "deserve" the bid you have and that your champion is good enough to compete you don't get more bids....especially freaking 3
At least Indiana State (who finished 8th in the MVC) won a game, didn't get run ruled in either loss (in fact one was only 2-0)
