Cold night for lacrosse to open up last night at Unitas Stadium. Hopkins forgot to pack their longjohns, lose to Towson 7-5.

Towson beats Georgetown. That's two wins over the uppercrust self-important faggotry. :thumb: :thumb:

Michigan is getting better.

1-13 in each of the first two post club team seasons
5-11 last season
2-1 so far this season

We'll see how it goes I guess

Ohio State curb stomped UD a week or two ago. Sounds like the Big Ten could put together a formidable lax conference of its own soon.

UAlbany plays Cornell in Dallas on Saturday (2/28) @ 2 pm. Lyle Thompson is projected to play. He was injured slightly at Drexel. If you're in the area and you want to see the Tewaraton trophy winner. There's your chance. I believe it's at SMU's facility.

It's only a matter of time before it explodes to the West of the Appalachian Mt. range. There are D3 schools in Iowa starting women's LAX.

B10 conference has it now.

I don't think most FCS schools in the midwest will start it up but I'd bet many of the D3's start it up and if the talent pool grows we might eventually see FCS programs starting it.

Look man. There are only a couple of sports left for white guys to get college scholarships. Back off.

There's a lot of HS talent out there now, so it's only a matter of time before the kids in the east migrate further west for college. Heck, Denver is ranked #1 this year, Notre Dame 2.

Almost no midwest programs though.

For a school like UNI (just as an example) it'd be fools gold to try mens or womens.

Watch how the private schools in Iowa do/recruit and then try it after a decade or so

I know UNI is looking at a small womens sport, or two, to equal out Title IX a little more. The rugby team doesn't want to go NCAA and so a couple sports have been explored. If LAX gets into the midwest at a D1 level it might show up at places like UNI, Drake, SIU, etc...

Are there any schools on that list who don't recruit?

One of my daughters assistant coaches got a full ride to Colorado. Pretty fucking awesome.

Thing I like about Denver is that they have a requirement that 50-60% of their roster has to come from west of the mississippi. Not sure if they are the only school to do that, but its a great way to force the sport to the rest of the country.
