Well, not yet, but it's going to be a good hire.

Where is that thread about shortest books again?93henfan wrote:Deep Thoughts by Grizzaholic.grizzaholic wrote:What is his stance on pedos?
Thank you for your contribution.
remember NO ONE at Penn State knew anything about anything that had ever happened in their faculties ever because no one in the nation actually knows what is happening in the facilities....Ever...the NCAA just wanted to witch hunt and kill Joe.Grizalltheway wrote:Texans are going to hire O'Brien. Yeah, because people who want to stay somewhere feverishly renegotiate their buyout clause each year.CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Even if he left, Penn State would not hire Schiano unless he was the last coach on earth.
That isn't the only thing that is being re-negotiated. Most of what O'Brien is negotiating concerns compensation for his asst. coaches, a larger recruiting budget and more autonomy from the AD, whom he hates. The word is that O'Brien is close to getting everything he wants. They buyout reduction is just insurance.93henfan wrote:Yeah, because people who want to stay somewhere feverishly renegotiate their buyout clause each year.CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Only one incident was alleged to have happened on campus and the "victim" in that incident said that it did not happen. He claims to have been abused by Sandusky, but not on the Penn State campus.clenz wrote:remember NO ONE at Penn State knew anything about anything that had ever happened in their faculties ever because no one in the nation actually knows what is happening in the facilities....Ever...the NCAA just wanted to witch hunt and kill Joe.Grizalltheway wrote:Texans are going to hire O'Brien. I won't be able to find out what happened until tomorrow, but as of this morning he was staying at Penn State. I think I know what happened but I don't have any confirmation right now.clenz wrote:well...shockingly your wrong.....again....CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Texans and O'Brien agree to a contract per multiple reports on Twitter....and tv....and radio...and everywhere

Why did O'Brien leave? It's common knowledge:
1- He prefers the pro game.
2- The sanctions he walked into were worse than he imagined.
3- Dealing with the Paterno fan faction
4- PSU in transition with AD and Presidents lame ducks
Etc, etc, etc
