And Arizona would never get to the Rose BowlAZGrizFan wrote:If these schools come to the conference and form the Pac-16, ASU might as well leave. Their already very slim chances of winning a conference title would immediately drop to ZERO.![]()

The Pac 12 has a great logo. Its simple, creative, looks really sharp, and is easily convertible with more teams.dbackjon wrote:

All other football already has been completely irrelevant. Same schools different conference, that is all.SDHornet wrote:They probably had that in mind when they developed the new one.DJH wrote:The Pac 12 has a great logo. And it sounds like these new super conferences are all but a done deal. The next step will be to separate from the NCAA and keep all the money to themselves. Brilliant move by these schools to do so. Fucking brilliant.![]()

I think this would pretty much make all other college football completely irrelevant.
Mizzou to MVC....CitadelGrad wrote:The Big 8 made a huge mistake by taking in the SWC refugees. Texas has already destroyed two conferences. Soon, they'll begin work destroying a third.
Mizzou, Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State are sooooooo screwed.
Despite what happened last off-season - I stand by it - Kansas/K-State/Mizzou/Notre Dame to the Big 10...CitadelGrad wrote:The Big 8 made a huge mistake by taking in the SWC refugees. Texas has already destroyed two conferences. Soon, they'll begin work destroying a third.

I love it too...and I think the SEC gets Clemson & Florida State....TwinTownBisonFan wrote:Despite what happened last off-season - I stand by it - Kansas/K-State/Mizzou/Notre Dame to the Big 10...CitadelGrad wrote:The Big 8 made a huge mistake by taking in the SWC refugees. There's your super-conference...
Move West Virginia in to the SEC to give them 14... then it's just a question of if the SEC will find two more they want... Louisville? Cincinnati? Hard to see the SEC bringing in either team - but the pickings are getting slim - granted, the SEC can probably get whoever they want...
I may be alone in this - but I love this shit...
I would actually love to see FSU in the SEC, it's a good fit in all sports.AZGrizFan wrote:I love it too...and I think the SEC gets Clemson & Florida State....TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

Iowa St is screwed - the Big 10 will NOT be letting them in. While there is some political pressure in Iowa - the Hawkeyes very much drive the bus politically - and they don't want the Cyclowns in the conference - the other members will respect that.MSUDuo wrote:I don't think Clemson and FSU would vote to raise the buyout for the ACC from $13 million to $20 and then turn around and pay it. Now, the raise might have been raised anyways but still...
I think the ACC holds at 16, presuming that the rumors of UConn and Rutgers coming are true.
The SEC is going to run out of options. After A&M and WVU, who else is there? USF? Which division would Louisville go into? Do they go after TCU?
Can Cincy get into the Big Ten? Can Iowa State?
Still though KU would end up out west but doesn't look like it anymore.
Would Mizzou, KState, KU, ISU entertain the thought of going MWC if BYU and TCU came back? With Boise, Nevada, and Fresno either already there or coming, they would take the Big East's BCS bid. That would put the MWC at 14 and possibly looking for 2 more. Houston? SMU? Memphis?
If the right situation came up, they'd pay it. But I know the SEC isn't really an option, that's just my viewpoint as a fan. Most of these moves are based around football and this doesn't excite me as a fan of an ACC school.MSUDuo wrote:I don't think Clemson and FSU would vote to raise the buyout for the ACC from $13 million to $20 and then turn around and pay it. Great...another ACC patsie for SEC members to beat up on.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:West Virginia now submitting paperwork to the SEC to be Team 14...
