I heard RMU either beat Duke or tied in a scrimmage. I know its just a scrimmage, but still it is Duke. RMU is loaded with Box guys from up north.
I think they could end up top 20 by the end of the year.

Danefan,
Have you heard anything confirmed about any of the Thompsons committing? Also heard they had a native from Corcoran HS commit.
Would be huge for the Danes.

Also, if anyone is interested Cuse beat Hofstra by one last weekend in a scrimmage at the Dome. Hofstra will be very very strong this year.

Thats a great game for Bryant. They are going to be nasty. I am really looking forward to the NEC starting lacrosse.

we cracked the Top 25 a few times last year and I think this year we might be able to make the Top 15-20 if we continue to play well.

Do you guys know why Sacred heart, Bryant, Robert Morris, Johns Hopkins can't get a associate membership to a conf. like CAA, ECAC, AEC, MAAC?

Next year the NEC starts its conference and that will be all six lacrosse playing members. So that will leave Jacksonville, JHU, Mercer and and Presbyterian without conferences. JHU enjoy no conference because they have an entire schedule to pick. I think JU, MU, and PC will find an affiliate in a few years right now the RPI is too low to take them in.

Sacred Heart and Robert Morris were part of the CAA for the past few years. However, they weren't terribly competitive and when the shake-up happened that saw nova go off to the Big East the CAA went ahead and picked up Penn St and UMass, both much better programs than Sacred Heart or RM.

Wow, that was a high scoring affair. Leaving up 24 goals is not good!
