Trumps “trickery” is really not that big of a deal. It’s just basic street smarts, but every twitter boy fell for the “I’ll make my decision in two weeks” hook, line and sinker.

A lot of people in the United States as well as the world they just don’t get Trump…. And that’s actually good for the United States of America.

Russia is not happy about all of this.

Looking forward to both sides jumping through hoops on his matter for the next several months.

Iran is going to attack several US bases, and neocons are going to come out in droves about how we are going to need to "protect our interests in the region." Then Hegseth is going to send a carrier fleet to the strait of hormuz, then an incident is going to occur and all of "turn Iran into a parking lot" social media pundits are going to cream themselves in excitement.

Meanwhile, Russia needing to support Iran is going to require them pulling forces and material out of the Ukraine conflict, cause that theatre to drag out further, leading to Ukraine having an improved success on that front, European support to matter more. Biden didn't want to escalate the Ukraine war because of the involvement of Iran and North Korea in the conflict and the Democrats fake narrative that they aren't a party of international war. Because they've campaigned for 25 years now of being the party of peace and cooperation. But February 2022 changed that.

The "4D chess move" on all this is that Trump is escalating the Iran front as a proxy to support Ukraine in a way that doesn't anger his base, going against the narrative that he is a Putin puppet, and forcing China to worry about having the US potentially having a more substantial base of operations to the western side of the country. China markets themselves as peaceful mediators, however their cooperation with Iran implies tacit support of their Islamist covert operations throughout the Middle East as a means to limit US encroachment in the region.
