Also, there were plenty of Jews who lived in that section of the world prior to the creation of the state of Israel, and even well before the creation of the Zionist movement. Also, there are many Jews who now live in Israel who were forced out of their countries in the surrounding area (i.e. not Europe) by Muslim nations. If it was as simple as you say then we wouldn't be in this situation now.

I think the problem has more to do with who
else was there prior to the creation of the State of Israel - the people who lost their land when the settlers came to the State of Israel.
The best way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of opinion but allow very lively debate within that spectrum - Noam Chomsky
