Doesn't matter. The will of the people is being ignored. Democracy is dying!

Ah! I see it now! Quite true! It will be fun watching some of you mimicking Trip’s ideas of expanding representation now.

Who besides Jelly is going to mimic Trip's ideas of expanding representation?

In case you didn't get it (you've been a little dense of late :poke: ) Fiver was mocking the left's pearl-clutching, chicken-littleesqe cries that democracy was about to end if Republicans won.

Beat Watters by a day. Actually posted that months ago when I read an article explaining the 2020 election wasn't so much stolen as the Dems outworked the Reps to simply get more ballots.

All it takea is one (likely conk appointed) judge in one of the circuits who will declare a nationwide halt/injunction to this, & then it will make its way through the courts with a 3 judge then full circuit then SCOTUS and be overturned in a year or 2.

That didn’t take long. The 8th Circuit has placed an injuction against Brandon’s student loan handout.
And now struck down by Fed judge.

Good. It's about time for Congress to step up and do it's job managing the purse strings.

I agree on this one. Whether we forgive student loans or not, at the end of the day it should be Congress taking action to do it, not be Executive fiat. For a party that just recently trumpeted the merits of democracy it seems a weird thing to avoid democracy in this interest of just getting this done to the outcome they want.

On another note that I haven’t seen memtioned is the:
-Florida is no longer the #1 battleground state as was evidenced by Rubio’s (16 pts) and Desantis’s (19+ pts) landslide wins. Heck the majority of Team Brown in FL voted conk, and even Miami-Dade went conk for the 1st time since forever? Florida has gone from purple to now solid red.

-Texas remains solid red and isn’t trending purple as argued by the left and JSO. Landslide double digit conk wins in TX for Gov/Lt Gov/Attny Gen. Conks increased their majorities in both houses of the state legislature. TX gained 3 House seats, and conks picked up 2 of them. House went from 23-12 conk to 25-13.

It's the near-future direction of things - blue states get bluer and red states get redder. Both parties are experts at gerrymandering so they do what they can in that regard. PA now has a Dem governor and two Dem Senators, so even PA is trending away from purple status. Neither party appears to be able to make any kind of transformational breakthrough in terms of direction so we may be stuck with this for awhile, especially given the paucity of good nationwide candidates from either party.

Anyone with half a brain could see this was unconstitutional, and will eventually be ruled as such by SCOTUS at least 6-3. But it probably got the under 30 crowd out in a little higher #s and a little more lopsided to the donks that they otherwise would have been. Probably gained (or prevented losses) for the donks in a few House seats, and maybe a Senate seat and Gov seat or 2 that are/were real close.

Truth but I also find the irony of MAGAts talking about others being played for fools deliciously ironic.

There are two parties to vote for. Voters are going to invariably vote for one of them, and then have the folks they vote for either do something to go against their interests or not do something for their interests. Rarely does a voter find a politician that does everything they want and nothing they don't want.

I was referring to MAGAts who believe that trump is fighting the establishment to protect the interests of everyday people. Non-suckers know that the only person trump cares about is trump.

What the fuck is up with Arizona? Are they required to stick their thumbs up their ass before counting each ballot?

trump endorsing crappy candidates and taking shots at potential rivals (DeSantis and Youngkin) has tamped down trump fevah. He's a wounded wildebeest that doesn't know it's dead yet.

What the hell is going on in CA? Of 22 uncalled House races (NBC) over 3 days after the polls have closed, 1/2 (11) are in CA. Looks like they’re even slower than NV and AZ to count votes..

Perhaps not a perfect explanation but some of this is likely true.

Excited for this game. EWU is actually my favorite team outside of the Montana schools.
