Actually I hope Trump enters the primary and loses

Then he will say it was rigged and the Trumpist base will stay home

And then the independents/moderates/Hispanics will come out for Tim Scott er I mean Scott/Haley/DeSantis and they will curb stomp whatever progtard gets the nod from the Dems

We may well have the next Reagan coming and klam hardest hit!

I hope the timing is better than it was '80. I had to spend my formative Cold War years listening to constant drivel about how our system was superior to the Soviet Union's because those poor schmucks had only a ruling political class and the rest were serfs, but here in the USA we have a thriving middle class and thats why our system is superior.

Turns out we didn't need any kind of middle class at all let alone a thriving one. :ohno: :coffee:

And the madness continues. A 200-mile stretch of the Southern Border is now completely unguarded. Texas getting no federal help. TikTok is accepting ads by drug cartels offering big money to Americans who are willing to drive illegals into the US. Fentanyl pouring into the US like water. And Caramel Harris, Biden’s “border czar,” is in Honduras for the inauguration of its new socialist president.

We have a de facto open border now. And this administration is intentionally hiding what they are doing, using contractors instead of actual CBP or ICE officers to move people around like a shell game.

This admin is lying in ways that could even make the Trump admin blush.

Due to the Biden border crisis,

Abbott has also asked his fellow governors for help with border crisis, Desantis responds by sending FL LE and NG:
The list of support includes more than 100 Florida Highway Patrol troopers, 200 Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers and 800 Florida National Guard soldiers

Every red state gov should send resources to help repel the illegal alien invasion..

Gov. Ron DeSantis sends Florida National, State Guard to Texas

….. Florida National Guard and State Guard members will be sent to Texas to assist with placing razor wire along the southern border and stopping illegal immigration, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday.

Florida will send up to 1,000 of its own National Guard members and State Guard volunteers to assist Texas, as the state has done with other Florida agencies over the past two years.

“The goal is to help Texas fortify this border, help them strengthen the barricades, help them add barriers, help them add the wire that they need to so that we can stop this invasion once and for all,” DeSantis said from Jacksonville’s Cecil Airport Thursday morning. “And the states have to band together.….

The State Guard became inactive in 1947 after being established in World War II to replace deployed Florida National Guard members. Bills currently being considered by the Florida Legislature (HB 1551/SB 1694) allows DeSantis to send the guard to other states.

DeSantis revived the State Guard in 2022, and the Legislature increased funding from $10 million to $107.6 million. The force tripled from 400 to 1,500 members last year. He did not specify how many of the members would be sent to Texas.

Florida already has 90 officers from the Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement stationed at the border.

“It's sad that you don't have a president willing to just, you know, put his foot down and say ‘I'm not going to let this happen to my country,’” DeSantis said. “But in the absence of that leadership, in the face of the dereliction of duty, we're going to step up and do our part.”

Last May, DeSantis signed into law what his office called the "strongest anti-illegal immigration legislation in the country." Among other things, it made E-Verify mandatory for employers with 25 or more workers, banned local governments from issuing identification cards to "illegal aliens" and required hospitals to "collect and submit data on the costs of providing health care to illegal aliens." Like many of his initiatives, it too is under court challenge….

Its sad that the Republicans reneged on their own deal and left Jim Lankford hanging out to dry like that and that Chuck Grassley told the truth about why. Lankford is one of the few Republicans willing to put country ahead of party

They should listen to the BP agents

“We hear this number, six million people have come across under the current administration. I talked to experts down there that say that number is a myth, that it’s closer to 13 to 14 million that have come across," McGraw told Sean Hannity. "I asked them straight up, what is it you need here? I was shocked to hear them say, ‘We don’t need more money. We don’t need more resources, we don’t need more officers, we don’t need more legislation. We just need the laws that are on the books to be followed. We need to be allowed to do our job. And we can get this under control right now.’"
