It’s like this piece was written by a real Karen. :ohno:

Bernie last week decried people not knowing what’s in the bill as well.
Yeah, I’m sure your man Bernie has read every line of it.

The point, which you predictably missed, is that Bernie Sanders doing this in WV is more likely to hurt the bill’s chances rather than help.

Huh? No.
Then kindly explain to me why he shot a torpedo at his own legislation by writing an opinion piece for a WV paper that decreased its chance of passage, pissed off a fellow senator whose assistance he will need on it and future legislation, and showed a lack of understanding of the people of West Virginia.

Why torpedo the agenda that he's been pushing for 50 years?

He's tone deaf when it comes to the needs and wants of West Virginia voters. He's not just a career politician who has never held a real job in his adult life, he's an arrogant fool.

You believe he's right on most of these issues, I believe he's right on a few of them but disagree with his approach and think he's sinking his own agenda with his arrogance not his principles.

It's a "you're with me or you're against me" approach and assumes that anyone that doesn't agree isn't enlightened enough to understand and needs to be shown the error of their ways. There are similarities with Trump and his MAGAts.

Bernie's a tool. He caved to Hillary and got the big payoff. Now he lives the good life with 3 houses while wanting to tax the average working guy more.

Bernie has been, and always will be, a politician at heart. He's been in Washington for over 30 years because it's a great way to amass personal wealth and he's done that just as well as other Washington lifers. He may personally believe what he espouses, but he's also just as happy to profit from his position while not really advancing his beliefs. Just like other politicians, why solve something and move on to another issue when you can stick on the same issue for decade after decade and use that as a wedge issue every time you run for re-election ("this time we'll really do it!!"). :coffee:

That's the dream of a celebrity Socialist....it's no better than the televangelists living in $32M homes and being worth $100s of millions while advocating the philosophy of someone that would abhor that.

Great analogy, Bernie Sanders is the Jim Bakker of the Socialist wing of the Democratic Party. I bet if he opened up a socialist theme park in Vermont that kalmie would be making reservations the moment it opened.
