I don't think we've seen the end of his mental decline. Being POTUS is hard on a person and he's going to slip further into the mental abyss.

I agree, as bad as it is, it can always get worse. I'm shocked it's this bad just 8 months in, that doesn't bode well for the next 3 years, assuming he makes it that long. I wouldn't be shocked if he voluntarily exits following the 2022 midterms.

The best was the presser a couple of days after his Afghanistan disaster where he was inappropriately angry in tone throughout. It was so old-man cliche. Funny stuff.

I hope he sticks it out through 1/20/24. The alternative is even scarier.

I don't think he's really running much these days anyway. And even if he is, it's only when he's cognizant anyway, which doesn't appear to be all that often. Presidents are always, to some extent, figure-heads - it's hard to run or know every detail that's going on throughout the Executive branch, but Joe's making the rest of those Presidents look downright detail-obsessive compared to his approach.

I don't disagree. I put the blame for AFG about 75/25 on Thoroughly Modern Milley and Blinken. But Biden's brand is stamped on both of them, of course. I don't recall such an activist JCoS Chair as Cisgender Mark. I've seen plenty of clueless Secretaries of State. It's almost a prerequisite. Most are lost in book-learning and short on real-world experience. And I don't even need to discuss the token SecDef.

And Biden defeated Trump in an election. Most of the country voted for a old man that still has temper tantrums, and a memory care escapee. MSM did their job as most people followed hook, line and sinker, to vote for only these two, even though neither is, or was a good choice.

A viable third party candidate from either the DNC or GOP would never run for fear of splitting the vote and handing the win to the other party.
