It’s really sad what Trump did to JSO

He used to come in here and write War and Peace about how 14 year old girls shouldn’t be off limits

Now he’s just Houndawg with the occasional bark bark drive by

I voted Republican in 2020, Mitt Romney. It has good people, you just have to figure out who is Republican and who licks Trumps balls.

You might be right but I have a philosophical difference with allowing a minor to consent to vaccination (and I support vaccinations). The legislature should pass a law to change the age of consent for vaccinations.

It's interesting how stringent liberals want to be when it comes to sexual consent and laisse faire when it comes to medical consent (abortion, vaccinations) and conservatives are the opposite.

I'm pro-choice, but I also don't pretend that abortion isn't murder. It's murder. Not sure how you justify one ending a life and the other not. Play all the mental gymnastics you want but abortion is murder, thanks to science we know this.
And god is the # 1 serial abortionist.

Yeah, because minors can grasp these issues that will impact their body....

...but not surprised that the same idiots that think a child can be gender fluid are pushing vax without parental consent.

Which is more than the place deserves anymore, sad to say. I just stop by once in a while out of respect for what this place used to have. Shit, I even miss ALPHAGRIZ1's disconnected bullshit; whom I assume has hauled ass to mountains one step ahead of the federales. :coffee:

Could be a problem long-term though:
- Latino immigrants tend to be hard-working and more religious, more in line with conservative policies over time
- young, AnTiFa types are incels

Leave it to leftist wing-nuts to politicize a common sense policy that basically mirrors what the UK is doing.

UK: Will School Children Be Offered Covid Vaccines…and If So What Duties Will Schools Have?
Consenting to the vaccine

The rules around consent to vaccination for children are the same as those for consent to medical treatment. Briefly, those aged 16 and above are usually entitled to consent to their own medical treatment. Younger children who are "Gillick competent" (in other words they have the intelligence and competence to understand what is involved in their treatment) can consent to their treatment. Otherwise, someone with parental responsibility can consent on their behalf. Further details can be found at the following links:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/consent-t ... /children/

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -chapter-2

DfE guidance on Covid testing and the use of face coverings for children in schools has not been mandatory and no school can refuse to educate a child on the basis that they do not wear a face covering or fail to undergo non-symptomatic testing. If the vaccination programme is rolled out to school aged children, it will be highly unlikely to be a mandatory requirement for school attendance.

Whether schools may have any involvement in the delivery of any such vaccination programme is a separate whilst related point.

In relation to both, we would also expect detailed guidance, including on child and/or parental consent issues, to be shared by the DfE as part of any rollout programme.
You people are fucking nutz.

Bring em on - they're the best thing that ever happened to Cobden, Illinois - I've watched them bring that town back from the dead and it all started with a taqueria. :thumb:

The reason that they won't be a long-term problem for Democrats is that the Republican Party is hardwired for racism - thats how they are able to keep poor whites believing that whatever is good for Jeff Bezos is also good for them. Latinos as a group are smarter than that and understand that the Republican Party's raison d'etre has nothing to do with conservative values and everything to do with making sure that the hyper-wealthy have a free ride and that you and I pick up their share of the cost being American...as if the Republican Party would consider admitting millions of Catholics into the party even as a thought experiment...

And yet it's Dems who have convinced poor minorities that crumbs taken from Jeff Bezos and given to them is as good as its going to get, and that they aren't smart enough or motivated enough to ever succeed on their own. Hell these poor helpless minorities can't even figure out how to get an ID or make a copy of it.
