So this is where we're at
I had a discussion with a stranger today on the platform of reason -- Facebook.
I wrote something about a trans female athlete competing in the Olympics, and someone responded to me, addressing me as a "cis male."
I responded that I am not a "cis male"; that I am a "male."
She then replied by telling me that I was a cis male because I am a biological male who identifies as a male.
I said that this was true. But I choose to identify myself not as a "cis male" but as a "male."
She responded that it doesn't matter how I choose to identify. It is a just a fact that I am a cis male.
Unintended irony abounds it seems in the woke world.

I hope this bullshit is just a short term tug of war that returns to a more reasoned approach but it’s truly a black eye for the left.

Exactly. You asked "what isn't (a black eye for the left), these days?" and I gave you two example of people that not only aren't black eyes for the left but who are black eyes for the right to reasonable people.
