Good. States should stand up to this nonsensical edict from tbe fed govt that not allowing boys pretending to be girls to play on girls’ sports teams is somehow doscrimination.

The runners up can publicly say they support trans women and Lia Thomas but this...pretty much says it all.

Whether it is or not, the 2022 Division II male national champion in the event swam it in 4:20.44 vs. this person's time of 4:33.24. The people who have been arguing against allowing this sort of thing just got their poster scenario.

No way this person would have had any chance of winning a national title swimming against other men.

When there actually really is an example of a "mediocre white man taking a woman's place', feminists are silent, and the ones that aren't get called "TERFs".

So according to the left:
-A white woman identifying as a black woman = so racist.
-A white man identitying as a white woman and destroying all women in atheltic competition = so great.

We are truly living in a bizzaro world.

I see Thomas finished fifth in the 200 Free and 10 seconds off her best time. I didn't know a person who has trained for years, could have such a varied result in such a short race. 1:34 to 1:44.

Fuck cowherd. It's about competition. For their whole lives, these kids have been divided up based on their abilities. Now you have someone who is totally new dominating.

I'm not for banning, but how do we introduce a new division that gives them respect and fair competition?

Its not banning. The UPenn swimmer can compete against men- its what he did fir 3 seasons. He was all Ivy League competing against men.

We don’t need a new division. What we’ve had for the last century+ or whatever works fine. Biological men compete against biological men, and biological women compete against biological women. Easy peasy..

I just don't' see this as the hill to die on. I know a good amount of guys that moved to Belgium to race bicycles for no other reason than that they wanted to be a pro. Shit didn't work out for them, but Lia still has goals. I don't think she belongs in the women's division, but let's find a place for her. Let's not taint the purity of sports and find the right place for her to compete.
