You can't see the connection? You, a liberal, appreciate the LP standing up to Trump and the MAGAts and are willing to overlook their ethical lapses isn't that different than a conservative appreciating Manchin, Sinema, etc. standing up to the ctrl-left and being able to overlook their lapses. You can stick your head in the sand and pretend that you're and other liberals are different but the similarities between both parties are striking.

And of course there’s a connection. Not exactly a huge gap in virtue or for that matter, policy between centrist Dems and the LP. The LP is also corrupt and would probably side with Sinemanchin from a policy perspective.
My dislike for Trump goes way beyond policy.

I would say so. They woke up one morning to find their party sabotaged. They may be grifty, political ops and they find themselves shilling for someone like Terry McCauliff in a tightening race.
Those are fairly desperate circumstances.

The Lincoln Project claimed responsibility but two of the actual actors have been identified and they are Democrat operatives.

John Bolton predicted Trump won't run for president again in 2024 because he fears being known as a loser if it doesn't work out
Bolton could be right and it's too late for Trump, he's already a loser."I think he knows deep inside, although he will never admit it, he did lose in 2020 and very much fears losing in 2024 because if he hates anything in the world, he hates being called a loser."
Bolton added later: "I think he will talk about running incessantly until the very last moment because if he were ever to say he was not going to be a candidate, it would turn the spotlight off, and he doesn't like that either."

They'll be what, 78 and 77 years old respectively when that election happens? Vanity run amok. If the Biden disaster has shown us anything it's that we need to avoid electing anyone over 75 years old, and frankly, maybe a 70 or even a 65 year old limit as well. Yes, and that would be a crapfest as well. But there's no way Biden runs again, 2024 means the worst of COVID would be over (or we would at least stop doing much about it, heck, almost where we are now). Biden would have to campaign this time and there's no way he could physically handle that considering his poor mental health now and that would be 3 years away (with 3 more years of Presidential duty wearing him down even further).BDKJMU wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 10:36 amWell Trump vs Biden II would be 78 vs 82..GannonFan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 8:21 am

President Avocado Brain and VP Cackles the Clown were in Georgia together yesterday to push for the voting rights act. One person strangely absent was Stacey Abrams. So, together the sitting Pres and VP come to your state, your city, to push for the only issue you're known for while you're running to be the Governor of that state and you can't come because of a scheduling conflict?
Abrams has never been shy about her aspirations for the presidency before...

I don't think there's any doubt she wanted to avoid being connected to the sinking ship that is the Biden Presidency. If there was a way for Harris to not be there I'm sure she would've avoided it too.Baldy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:59 pmPresident Avocado Brain and VP Cackles the Clown were in Georgia together yesterday to push for the voting rights act.
