What' are Illinois' income tax rates and sales taxes?

• Sales Tax = 6.25% for state, total sales tax can be as high as 11% depending on the county and municipality. I think Chicago is 10.25%
• Income Tax = 4.95%
• Property Tax = 2nd highest in the country. Statewide average is double the national average.

That can't be right about property taxes, unless you're talking about 2nd highest in "mils" or something to that effect. My property taxes in Texas on a $600,000 house exceed $15,000 annually.
