Well, I was responding to “the new administration”. As far as just Biden himself, whom the Senators were addressing, it doesn’t hurt, and it doesn’t matter. Bidem won’t be able to remember it anyway.
That still doesn’t make sense. You want to your new Cabinet and policy wonks to know the current status is trade talks, negotiations, programs to help the old, ill, vets, etc.... it just makes sense to me. Help your country move on

Is Trump doing something surprising or unforeseen? Of course we should expect more from our elected leaders, but strangely we keep electing leaders who won't live up to that ideal. Maybe we're the problem? :coffee:
We elected Biden.....do you feel like he is like that? Hillary conceded the morning after with a much lesser vote margin loss. Gannon.....,you continue to be a champion of Trump by degrading the other side at every turn. Not everything is equal....and it certainly is NOT in this instance. maybe you can attend his 2024 rallies....coming to a airport hanger near you.
Uh, I voted for Biden. And I'm pretty sure I've spent the past 4 years on here detailing how and why I would never vote for Trump, called him a narcissistic buffoon more than I can count (and I can count really high), and basically cringing like everyone else at his style. Like a broken clock he did some good things from time to time, but again, I'm proud that I've never put his name on any of my ballots. So, riddle me this, how does that equal "a champion of Trump" as you say? Pretty sure this gets thrown into the bs bin, where many of your posts end up. But by all means, try to backpedal out of this one. :coffee:

First, how many extra digits do you have on your hands and feet? ;)

Second, Geoffrey doesn't backpedal when he's caught playing fast and loose with facts, he doubles down. He's a lot like Trump in that regard.

To Jeff, anything less than full-throttled, unbending, and unquestioning support of the Democratic Party/DNC leadership is supporting Trump. Don't you get it?

I bet I'm on a list now.

Wait till MJ finds out I didn't vote straight blue down the ticket either. I think Biden was the only Dem I voted for this year who won. Actually two, I think I voted for Shapiro for PA AG. I voted for this woman who ran for the State Representative slot for my district but she lost. We rent a beach house from her every year, really good person, shame she lost.

Rumor has it that Biden is going to create a new cabinet position for reeducation of recalcitrant retrobates and that he's looking at AOChe to lead it. :D

What cabinet? They have to be confirmed 1st.
Again, its over 2 months until Inauguration. No winner has been declared yet (media doesn’t count). The electors don’t even cast their votes for over a month from now (12/14), and the results aren’t certified by Congress until 1/6.

Good to see you realize that you're grasping at straws ...

If the situation was reversed you'd be ranting about the outgoing POTUS not giving Trump access to the briefs.

Ok. It’s clear you’re being obtuse and not trying to understand what I’m saying. He’s going to being to fill non confirmable posts - getting the policy wonks in order. He needs those people to meet with their counterparts for a firm handoff. How does that not make sense to you?

I'm sure he'll be absolutely livid, say that Biden is killing democracy and endangering the nation, and act exactly like the Dems are acting today. Of course, democracy will be just fine and the nation will learn to move on (Hamilton quote there), and we'll be just fine. Political parties yelling at other political parties aren't really going to tear this country down.

2+ months before Inauguration, before a winner was declared, I wouldn't care. We're a month before the state electors even cast their ballots, and about 1.75 months before the election is certified by Congress.
