I don't post politics on twitter or facebook. Twitter for keeping up with sports and athletes, facebook for family and friends.

Man, what's up with the far left and the far right both hating on Jews? Scary that antisemitism is the common ground between the two extremes.

Golf is not a sport.,

I could pick up the clubs (haven't played since April), and go out RIGHT now and shoot a 90, given a couple of mulligans and a breakfast ball or two.

I'm sure the left will call it "anti-Zionism", but that's just a remarketing attempt.

You're getting lazy ...

Ilhan Omar voted 2019's antisemite of the year
  1. Accusing American Jewry of possessing dual loyalty.
  2. Alleging that Jews buy their influence with money, infamously stating “It’s all about the Benjamins.”
  3. Accusing Israel of having hypnotized the world.
  4. Supporting the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.
  5. Submitting a resolution in the House of Representatives comparing boycotting Israel to boycotting the Nazis.
  6. Having her antisemitic statements endorsed by infamous neo-Nazi David Duke.
There are articles from a variety of other sources as well.

So the Jerusalem post thinks she’s anti-Semitic with zero supporting quotes (even out of context quotes) other than the Benjamin’s one?

You can rationalize it all you want but there is more than just smoke when it comes to the fire of Omar's anti-semitism.

Newsweek - Ilhan Omar's Soviet Anti-Semitism | Opinion

WSJ (login required) - Can Ilhan Omar Overcome Her Prejudice?

Vox - The Ilhan Omar anti-Semitism controversy, explained - “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

She and the Squat condemn Israeli attacks on Palestinian militants (who launch their attacks while hiding among civilians) but ignore Venezuela's attacks on pro-democracy supporters? Oppression and killing by "zionists" is bad but oppression and killing by socialists is ok?

Agreed. They may often cloak their anti-Semitism in anti-Zionism, but if they were right wingers we'd be talking about "dog whistling" racism as well linking to the SPLC's listing of them as hate groups. Like I said, it's amazing how anti-Semitism is a bridge between the whackos on the left and the whackos on the right. Not sure how that happened but it's a weird outcome of human intolerance and bigotry through the years.

Pure speculation here but while anti-semitism has long been a part of right wing extremism I think that it gained a foothold with left wing extremists who supported the Palestinian cause and grew from there.

Nah, frankly it's always been there. For a good 2000+ years now anti-Semitism has been horribly mainstream. Blame the Catholic Church if you want (and I'm Catholic) since they've been around forever, but it wasn't until Vatican 2 that they started to weed out and explain away a lot of the anti-Jewish stuff. Heck, a lot of the John gospel makes you cringe at times, and they've been cleaning it up. Must've sounded even worse in Latin.

The sources are questionable but there is smoke there and Hunter is a Grade AAA sleazeball just like the Trump spawn. I find it ironic (psst - that's a nice way of saying hypocritical) when one side criticizes the ethical lapses of the other side's spawn while ignoring/rationalizing their side's.

Donks and Conks have devolved into elementary school children - "they're worse than we are", "they did it first", etc.

Grow up, develop and elect some real leaders instead of these pathetic old men with questionable character or arrogant activists who don't understand the world outside of their own little corner of it.
I must have missed the pics of the Trump kids with crack pipes hanging out of their mouths and self made porn tapes...
And what does that have to do with corrupt, nepotism or anything else? Hunter Biden has problems He's admitted that. As has Joe. Joe actually loves his kids.

As for UNI88's both sides BS - this is what has alloweed Trump's excesses to flourish

FYP

FTR - I have called out Trump's BS so I'm not sure how my approach has allowed his excesses to flourish? How hard did you come down on Hillary's excesses (Clinton Foundation, e-mail server, Benghazi, undermining the victims of Bill's sexual exploitations, etc.)? Or did you try to minimize or rationalize them because she was the candidate of the party you supported? Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Yeah - but they're brown and socialists so they get a free pass.

A sleazeball is a sleazeball, doesn't matter if they're a Park Ave sleazeball or a trailer park sleazeball. But go ahead and keep rationalizing that your sleazeballs aren't as bad as their sleazeballs.
How are the Trump's 2 sons & 2 daughters sleazeballs?
If we're going to use drugs as an excuse then, Don Jr is a sleazeball. He cheated on his wife and family. That makes you a piece of shit, in my book. Did you see him at the Convention? Or on TV with the dancing jaw? Dude is on the nose candy. According to a woman that Don had an affair with, they did drugs together (but never coke).
