Do we really know that the Hunter Biden story was fake? The information and sources were questionable but should it have been completely dismissed and ignored? There was definitely some smoke there and the reality that Joe Biden did nothing to prevent his son from profiting off his name and position does not speak well for his integrity or how he will allow people to benefit from access to him as the most powerful person in the world. As Ibanez has said, character matters and the Hunter stuff reflects poorly on Joe Biden's character.
The parallels between the Hunter story and Russia collusion are interesting. All it took for the Russia collusion hoax to gain traction and become newsworthy was for the US House or Representatives to legitimize it by using it to pursue impeachment.
