There were some of the typical threats of violence, civil war, armed insurrection as well. I’ll try and find them.

I see Trumpkins are wanting to write Trumps name in for the Ga Senate runoff. That's a great idea. Do it.

The WaPo piece on the last few weeks in the whitehouse is not surprising and it mirrors the denial of his cult.
Trump campaign signs are staying up for the next 4 years. (Except my neighbor who had the good graces to take it down from our driveway)

Don't you find it humorous that the "elections have consequences" crowd spent 4 years nipping at Trump's heals and questioning the legitimacy of his presidency is now pointing out the hypocrisy of the "you lost, get over it" crowd?kalm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:34 amThere were down ballot failures???

Trump and his supporters are a whole next level though.
But like I’ve said before, Trump doesn’t surprise me nearly as much as the cuckiness and whining of his supporters. They’re supposed to be the strong type compared to the soft emotional liberals.

Re: Parler
Trump and his alt-right supporters are at whole next level but the ctrl-left is right there with them. Insanity in politics is cyclical. Trump and his supporters one upped Obama and his supporters who one upped Bush II. Will the cycle continue? Will the ctrl-left one up Trump and his supporters? 50% chance of yes, 40% chance that pseudo-progressive and moderate wing infighting derails everything, 10% chance that Biden is able to lead them to rise above it, <1% chance that Biden takes it a step further and actually unifies the country.kalm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:02 amForgotten is the corruption of Hillary. You're not wrong about the cuckiness and whining of Trump and his supporters. For supposed rugged 'Murican patriots, they sure do act like snowflakes. Can't you say the same thing about the arrogance and self-righteousness of supposedly liberal and open-minded pseudo-progressives?

Interesting you should bring that up. I found a guy on Twitter who used to be a moderator for 8chan and pretty much everything he said would happen to Parler has happened.
The best way I can describe it is like when all the online traders were driving up the stock price to screw the guys that were shorting, only to see the "vendor" (Robinhood?) then screw the online guys over by limiting their trading. In the end, they found out the vendor really wasn't their buddy.

What she said was stupid because it was hypocritical and partisan. She says she rejects the embargo on Cuba because it's "never acceptable for us to use cruelty as a point of leverage against everyday people" but she's ok with BDS against Israel even though it is essentially a volunteer embargo? The difference between Israel and Cuba (or Venezuela) is ideology. She defends the little guy when it suits her purposes or supports her partisan ideology. She's an intellectual lightweight who doesn't understand economics, how can she punch down? Who is below her?
