Being proud doesn't prevent the unhinged left from attacking people who support Trump.
The normalization of aggression against differing points of view is what is causing "proud" Trump supporters from openly stating their support, not shame.

Ahhh. It isn't guilt. I try to use logic and reason and spend a majority of the time playing devil's advocate. Give an opposing view and see if someone can either change my perspective or change theirs.

Re: How Trump Wins
Biden’s lead is now almost exactly what Hillary’s was on the eve of the 2016 election.
I think this is going to come down to the virus. If things start to turn around this fall I think Trump wins. If we’re still burning and Trump’s words in April-May are in every DNC ad in October, then I think Biden wins.

He'll win. People are confused and angry right now. His only real skill is pointing a finger at someone else to blame. They'll lap that up. The point being that polls don't measure electoral votes.

Luckily I don't have to make that choice living in God's country.

I love Portland. Great food and close to Mt. Hood, the Gorge, the Coast, etc. The weather is awesome, the temperature range is generally between 30 and 90. While it rains quite a bit it's typically a gentler rain than the Midwest and the sunny days are awesome and they aren't as infrequent as people think. I could live in Texas no problems too - DFW, Austin or San Antonio, not sure about Houston though. I could live a lot of places in the US and enjoy living there.

I have been to Portland/Seattle many, many times and love the surrounding areas. Even don't mind the weather.
And if I had enough money to ensure I would not have any neighbors, I wouldn't mind living out there (better camping, cycling, hiking, the ocean, etc.). But unfortunately that "price" to be away from people is rising, along with the taxes. If I win the lottery I will have a place on the coast or back up in the mountains. Outside of that, on my current income, I would have to put up with way too many people to make it worth while. I would rather live in SWASS area of Canada (or any area outside of the major cities in Texas) and visit whenever I want a vacation.
