These two posts ^ are indicative of a three way race. Trump remaining pertinent and crazy should help Biden with indies if they choose the lesser of two evils route. Trump has a lower ceiling. Not too many who will suddenly switch to Trump THIS time.

Trumps reaction to Carlson keaving FNC when being interviewed by NewsMax’s Greg Kelley (another former FNC host):
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video ... tings.htmlWell, I’m shocked. I’m surprised. He’s a very good person and a very good man, and very talented as you know. And he had very high ratings. So, we’re just learning about it almost as we speak. You and I just said, “Wow, that was something, that’s a big one.” I don’t know if it was voluntary, or was it, somebody fired? But I think Tucker’s been terrific. He’s been – especially over the last year or so – he’s been terrific to me.
So if there was any animosity, they kissed and made up.

No one is calling for banning translite. You and anyone else is free to buy and drink all of it you want.
No one is callibg for banning books. Banning certain age inappropriate books from school isn’t banning those books any more than banning porn from schools isn’t banning porn. Adults are still free to buy them
GOP wants to ban ‘history classes’. Um yeah ok. And banning CRT isn’t banning history classes.

Free country. If you want to give the proverbial middle finger to the majority of your customer base, then deal with the consequences. If you and the left don’t like it, you are free to go buy copius amounts of Bud Lite (its on sale virtually everywehere) to make up for a large chunk of traditional Bud Lite drinkers not buying/drinking it.Ibanez wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 1:28 pmSorry..BOYCOTTING b/c they featured a transvesitte. As far as what the left is claiming is happening in Florida schools, I’ll take that with a grain of salt. The left was also in an uproar 2 years ago lying about the FL bill that banned talk of sexuality & sex identity in kindergarten through 3rd grade that a majority of Floridians (including donks) agreed with the bill. Callibg it the ‘Don’t Say Gay Bill’ was a lie.
You mean drag shows for kids? That would be like saying if people were taking kids to strip shows (with actual women), if you don’t like it, don’t go then. Parents should have the right to do with their kids what they want to a certain extent, but the debate is where that line is.

I remember when Megyn Kelly left Fox for NBC and I said on this board no one was going to watch her over there, lo and behold that came true. Won't be that hard to find someone to bring ratings in the 8 PM ET slot, unless they put some ho-hum Shepard Smith or Chris Wallace type there.

Legislator or legislature?
I'm sure many of the buffoons who silenced Rep Zooey Zephyr would be in favor of the ignorant hateful drivel that MTG spouts and their belief that Zephyr “encouraged the continuation of the disruption of this body, placing legislators, staff and even our pages at the risk of harm” was much more seditious than what happened on January 6.

Re: Cancel Culture thread
No, sorry I missed it skimming over responses because at the time wasn't arguing with you. Looks like the Politifact Tucker watch was over years of his show..
-Some of those were things he said which turned out to be proven false. IF he believed them at the time he said them that they were true, then not a lie, it just means he was wrong, dumb, whatever.
-Some were clearly meant to be hyperbole, like the Cap Police were acting as the Quanon Shamon's tour guide, and the majority of people watching would recognize it as such. The Cap Police weren't playing tour guide, but they clearly made no attempt to stop Quanon either, with numerous officers, (up to 9 in one video) standing near him or walking along with him.
-Some were claimed by Politifact to be false because no evidence, or very weak evidence, to support Tucker's statement, ie unsubstantiated, but certainly weren't proven to be untrue, much proven to be lies. And in refuting Politifact often just say's "according to experts" without mentioning who they are.
-At least one Politifact was flat out wrong. The "Electronic voting machines didn't allow people to vote” in Maricopa County Politifact labeled as false. That is wrong. Politifact stated:
There were issues at 60 vote centers. If people couldn't vote on some machines, and were able to cast their ballot by a different methods, the statement that 'Electronic voting machines didn't allow people to vote' (ie cast those ballots on those machines at that moment) is still 100% true.people could leave and vote at the closest poll that had no issues. They could also try until the machine cooperated or put their ballots in a slot on the side of the machine.

No one is talking about ‘banning’ books except Democrats. This isn’t 1993 Germany. Not available in school (like porn) doesn’t = banned. Anyone over 18 is free to buy any of these books. For how long will parents in Florida be free to buy their kids any of these books? They've passed the slippery slope warning point and are sliding down and picking up speed.
The Bible is filled with references to sex and violence that should make it illegal to include in Florida school libraries.
