The best is when they go to commercial following an extra point, they come back, show the kickoff (which in the NFL is basically a touchback anymore most of the time) and then they go to commercial again. So about 8 minutes of commercials with no significant football action. But I guess they gotta pay the bills somehow.

I also quit watching all but about 3 games a year (Super Bowl and a couple of playoff games). But as far as the stoppage time, that is what fast forward and skip ahead is for on your remote. Never should spend more than an hr, maybe 1 1/2 hrs watching a televised football game…

Tucker was undoubtedly making 8 figures (maybe multiple 8 figures) at FNC. A good chunk of the right, and of FNC’s viewers, will follow him wherever he goes. I’m sure his agent’s phone has been ringing off the hook all day. Love him or hate him, he is such a unique media talent (has worked at CNN, MSDNC, and FNC) that he could go out and create his own media empire worth a billion+. Remember he started amd owned the Daily Caller until he sold it a few years ago.
