Bitch, please! It’s called the HPR (Harvard of the Palouse Review).
We have a local paper that is called the HPR (High Plains Reader) which is a pretty much the local socialist/progressive mouth piece. I enjoy picking it up ever now and then for the food articles and I like spreading it out to protect the kitchen table when I am cleaning my guns after range day. Getting that HOPS #9 on a article about the evils of being a conservative gives me schadenfreude every-time. :D

Agreeable to my shtick? It's called understanding the basics, which means graduate level Biochemistry, Virology and Immunology. But please, keep telling me how I don't quite grasp the biased coverage from your shit sources and your uninformed opinions.

When I have to explain natural selection to you, it shows your lack of understanding.

Listen here, Sugar Tits. I have a rec mgmt degree from the Harvard of Palouse with course work in Games, Aquatics, and an intro in the VERY sciencey Therapeutic Rec! Do you know your way around the myelinated sheaths? Didn’t think so.

Covid was here long before mid-March.
My brothers buddy and his family had it back in November of 2019 and they live in Minneapolis. They check the box for all the symptoms just were never diagnosed with it until later.
My wife was sick part of November and most of December 2019, thought she may have had it. Did they have the antibody test to prove it, with your brothers buddy?

That is impossible. Clark County is filled with libertarian types who fled socialist Portland. I went there on Sunday for a walk along the northern bank of the Columbia and the majority of the people I saw weren't wearing masks. Covid has to be running rampant through a population so uncaring and foolish.

Why wear a mask while walking outdoors?

My brother lives in Ridgefield and is a dirty hippy. He says 90%+ mask compliance. Your assessment is invalid.

When you passed people and you weren't 6+' apart.

I first lived with my cousin in Vancouver when I moved here and interact with people from Vancouver, Battle Ground, Washougal, etc. - my anecdotal assessment is valid. Clark County has a large population of libertarian-minded people who fled taxes and government overreach in Oregon.

Biden quote on MS and TX dropping their mask mandates (no need for a link, all over the interwebs):
"I think it's a big mistake. The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that....It's critical — critical, critical, critical — that they follow the science."

Yet Neanderthal thinking and not following the science is exactly what we have with Biden admin's refusal to reopen schools, and allowing illegal immigrants who have tested positive for the China Virus to not only remain in the US, but they aren't even detaining them- they are cutting them loose with a pretty please quarantine.. :suspicious: :ohno:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/108-migrants ... oronavirus
If the Biden admin was serious about the virus, they would:
-Tell the teachers' unions to pound sand, and insist on the reopening of all schools 5 days a week, and use the threat of withdrawing fed funding if they didn't.
-Not allow illegals who have tested positive for the virus to remain in the US, and immediately send them back over the border, or at a bare minimum detain them for 2 weeks..

So what if it were true. But like AZ pointed out, sounds like baloney.

Schools should be open 5 days a week.
Illegals who test positive should be sent packing.
Not doing either isn't "following the science".

The other part of if and when a state's numbers go up after they remove restrictions is how much did they go up. We need to balance lives saved from Covid vs lives lost and damaged by the lockdowns. A slight uptick might be acceptable if it's more than offset by the psychological, sociological and economic benefits of reopening.

The law of diminishing returns applies to saving lives from Covid. Why don't people want to follow the (social) science?

You really need to start thinking for yourself and quit pushing the bullshit you keep reading. You are not helping.

Which methodology did they use to classify those deaths? Can you even tell me? How about case count? It's much easier than myelin sheaths, axons and dendrites.

Don't forget NOT PEER REVIEWED. That's not how science works.

The bullshit I’ve been peddling from the start of this has been mostly predictive of at least reasons to be concerned and often of how things play out. Why? Quality sources supported by the science you proclaim to understand.
