My sisters hospital in Florida was 35% busier that other years in July. It's a couple week lag before you start seeing deaths. Covid patients are in the hopital that long or longer.
Cases in FL have been going up for a month. Deaths aren't..
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/florida/
Daily deaths since mid June have increased.

edited b/c BDK is too fucking stupid to read all the words: 7 day moving avg is trending up. Their 1st peak was 51 deaths on May 8, the last 3 days have been 59-71-72.

When you say deaths haven't been going up, what are you talking about?

Quit being scared, it's just the flu bro!

Or at least that's what AZ and SD have told me. It's totally fine.

WTF are you looking at? According to Wold-o-Meter, FL deaths the last 2 days have been yesterday, 45, today 35.

I'm obviously looking at the link I posted which you are referencing. For someone that likes to be an ass and tell people to read and comprehend, you sure are doing a piss poor job of doing so.

Scroll down further the page and you'll see the statistical graphs.

And read the words MOVING AVERAGE. The moving average shows a trend. That trend is going UP! :ohno: If I could put and paste screenshots on the machine, i'd help you out. But you'll have to do it yourself.

Check the "7 day moving average" box under the daily new deaths graph. The 7 day average for the last 3 days has been 59-71-72. It will dip again if yesterdays 45 deaths is followed up with another low number. However yesterday was Sunday so I suspect that the reported deaths was lower than actual.

Ok, so FL #s are sleightly up. Looking at the 7 day moving avg for NY it was in the 900s in mid April. FL, with around 2 million more people than NY state, WAY more Q-tips, a 7 day moving avg of around 60-70.

Right now FL, with one of the oldest populations, in one of the denser states, is 24th in deaths per million, way below the national avg. No cause for alarm.

No, but there's no reason for alarm in a state of around 21 million, loaded with Q-tips, that have death numbers as low as Florida's..

*slightly. It's gone up, which makes your earlier comments fake news.

And I wouldn't start comparing states. What difference does it make if more New Yorkers die vs Floridians? :suspicious: It makes zero difference. :twocents:

Well, tell that to the MSM and left. The MSM and left want to cling to a narrative that that the red states have this terrible response to the virus, when the death stats (total deaths, deaths per million, CFR) are far worse in the blue states.

Florida will catch up before this is over. New York in over the hump and down to less than 500 new cases today. Florida is trending upwards. Doesn't matter if it's red or blue state, people are dying.
