My brothers buddy and his family had it back in November of 2019 and they live in Minneapolis. They check the box for all the symptoms just were never diagnosed with it until later.
My wife was sick part of November and most of December 2019, thought she may have had it. Did they have the antibody test to prove it, with your brothers buddy?
The husband did but not the wife or kids.

Is herd immunity really going to happen? Or is this more like the cold that we can catch over, especially with different variants?
There is a lot you asked in that question, but to give you the short answer, yes, COVID should eventually die down and become a seasonal type cold. Although it looks to be a nasty one for those susceptible individuals. The CDC has already started adding COVID statistics to the family that includes Flu and Pneumonia.
Yup. ND hit herd immunity back in December. Now with a vaccine available we are long past the threshold for herd immunity.

So we gonna get a national campaign to get in shape or nah?
Obesity is an epidemic. We should take the same precautions and steps that we do for other epidemics.

That should be one huge take away from this. It’s sad how little preventative health measures have been discussed.
Wouldn't it fall on the individual to be responsible for their own health?

We're not. We've already castigated people for fat-shaming other people. Whatever you are, and no matter your weight, it's fine and it's beautiful and it's your lived experience. Granted, it may be unhealthy as all get out, but it's not wrong.
Did I tiptoe around this well enough not to offend anyone?

Of course! But would there have been or continue to be an issue with doctors educating and pushing it to their patients, educational efforts, access to facilities, etc?
The could be said for vitamin D and other supplemental nutrient ion/ meds.

Yes, as they are responsible for driving while intoxicated. One disease involves the person and their own health, the other can end other lives directly.

Not everything is a commie conspiracy 88NDSU.
I think obesity has more to do with processed foods/sugar intake/fast food more than anything else. You can't outwork a bad diet. Good luck combating those lobbies.
