Straight deck chairs aren't bad either... unless you're gay I guess.

False
Eyewitness accounts now identify the gunman as a heavy-set white male in his 40s or 50s. The Alexandria Police say the single suspect is in custody. He has not as yet been identified by name.

Earlier reports that the gunman asked the partisan identification of the people practicing before opening fire appears to have been in error, a good faith confusion of another person with the shooter. I’m not sure we can definitively rule that report out. But it now appears that report is at best unconfirmed and likely erroneous.
Wrong. :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: Congressman Duncan, who unknowingly at the time talked to the shooter as Duncan was leaving, confirmed the guy who asked which party was practicing was the shooter.

I still can't get over how bad a shot this guy was. If you're going to choose your death date, make it count for Christ's sake. If you're some clueless civilian, at least practice up for a few weeks with your weapon, hone your marksmanship, learn some basic tactics and good hides, how to cut off egress, work outside-in, etc.

The GOP is lucky this guy was a total stooge.

Elephant in the room:

How can these guys not get a decent healthcare plan or even a budget passed with weeks and months (nay years) to work on it, but they're out on a baseball diamond at 5:30am? Dafuk?

Link?

All the updates I'm seeing have Duncan saying the guy he spoke to was the shooter, and that he asked if it was Democrats or Republicans who were practicing

So, if the shooter thinks that the GOP and Trump are tyrannical, it is ok?

Nice work, Democrats :ohno: :
"I can only hope that the Democrats do tone down the rhetoric," Rep. Chris Collins said on a local radio station in upstate New York. "The rhetoric has been outrageous -- the finger-pointing, just the tone and the angst and the anger directed at Donald Trump, his supporters. Really, then, you know, some people react to things like that. They get angry as well. And then you fuel the fires."

Huge whiff by Jon. I think it would honestly be in his best interest to just stop posting on this thread.

Oh I agree. That was Rand Paul last year. Back when the darkie was President and the GOP was calling him a tyrant and dictator on a daily basis.

And back when Candidate Trump thought he was going to lose, and asked what could be done about Hillary as President...

Trump on Clinton: "Nothing you can do, folks, although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

First words out of the mouth of one of the liberal faggots (wearing a bowtie no less) I work with this morning in response to some office banter on this: "See, this just goes to show that having armed guards does no good."

Hey genius. The gunman is dead because of the armed guards on scene. (not known at time of the comment, but still)

No excusing him. Bernie attracted some crazy ass mother fuckers, most of whom, like this douche, ended up voting Stein or no one.

And if a Dem was shot, the rest of you would be making excuses....

Good thing the elite get their armed guards while they play softball. Maybe Congress could issue bodyguards for the rest of us

They don't. The only reason the guards were there was b/c of Rep. Scalise. He's leadership.
