Yes. If you don't think DeSantis and that lady had a laugh at posing with a snowflake, you can't be helped.

Now did they notice the fascist part? Probably not.

That’s what makes it funny. It’s an update of the kick me sign and if they’re aware of it now they are angry! :)

Yeah. Imagine that.
I have no doubt that the J6 Committee manipulated the "evidence" just like Tucker manipulated the "evidence". I chose not to trust either set of Slimy scumbags.

Why the J6 Committee would do that I don't know. Anyone with a functioning brainstem should have known that the truth would come out eventually.

Trust but verify should always be the first option when dealing with politicians or bureaucrats.

Ego and arrogance has been the downfall of many a man and women in history. Some people have a difficult time believing that it can happen to them. No different than a crook believing that they are smarter than the cops and will not get caught. Read something once that said a crook has to be continually lucky to evade the law, cops only have to get lucky once.

Our government history is filled with examples of people twisting the narrative to fit their goals and believing they can get away with it. People putting any trust in our elected and non-elected rulers are being naive. :coffee:

They both manipulated the evidence is a fair assessment. “Just like Tucker” is not and on many levels.

You might be right but one could argue that the J6 Committee's manipulation was a greater violation of public trust. They were members of Congress while Tucker is a commentator, not a journalist, spouting opinions.

Might explain why people's trust in Congress hovers around 40%.

They expect them to be better, and are continually disappointed. Funny enough that is about the same as Biden's and Trump's approval rating.

With the aid of the next D overreach. Duh!

I recommend getting past the idea that this is the worst it has ever been and it can't get any worse. The Ds will take power again and fervently believing that they have a popular mandate will overreach worse than the Rs. Again and again, until we get some adults in DC.

It’s not the worst it’s ever been, it’s just regression. I don’t put it past the Dems to fail as that’s what they’re paid to do.

But I do think this type of stuff could find the Republicans lost in the wilderness for awhile. It’s happened before. History doesn’t repeat but it sometimes echoes.

I don't think we're in a "lost in the wilderness" period for either party. No one party is that dominant over the other right now. Heck, the GOP controls the House already and, even with stumbling candidates, has a pretty good shot to control the Senate after 2024 given who's up for re-election. And the White House is always a crap shoot and really dependent on the candidates themselves, not the party. I'm not convinced the GOP has that candidate yet, and we could see another 4 years of Biden, but it won't be because the GOP is out in the wilderness.

kalmy also conveniently overlooks Republican influence at the state level.
