An elderly woman demanded a Donald Trump supporter seated next to her be moved, but she quickly found out that’s not how the world works.

Scott Kotesky, in a window seat, posted video on Saturday showing a woman in the middle seat complaining about him to airline personnel.

So in my ever shrinking world of FB friends (not really unfriending people, but certainly unfollowing) I never cease to be amazed at the dipshit liberal friends who just don't get things and think people actually value their posts. Girl from HS posts a picture of her at the women's march in NYC and says "what democracy is all about". No, the inauguration was what democracy was all about. The women's march was what the 1st amendment is all about. That you can march in protest of the results of the democratically elected official.

Totally agree with this. I thought it would die down over the weekend but my feed is still blowing up over Trump. I am fascinated by the diversity of Trump haters and liberals in general though. Bar owners, h.s. baseball coaches, football coaches, filthy rich dudes who attended Spokane's march...

I posted that if you were in mourning over the inauguration but supported Hillary and the DNC you might be part of the problem. Got as many likes from conks and some good donk push back.

If I ask someone to justify their views you'd think I'm creating a hostile work environment from the reactions- but god help you if you question any liberal sacred cows - There are just no manners or polite debate anymore.

The basic effect is at work, I and the approximately 20 conservatives/libertarians just keep our heads down and mouths shut. Job assignments anywhere other than the mail room are tied to getting along with others, which means STFU if you aren't a progressive.

And then that got me to thinking that this isn't the first time this atmosphere has existed here... I brought up a comparison between the stifling effects McCarthyism had on DoS back in the day and the current atmosphere and you'd think I just pissed on all the shoes in the room. But it is precisely what is happening, only in reverse.

I am beginning to see that progressivism- ALL OF IT - from the social justice part, to the lefty economic populism - all of it is based on retribution. It has nothing to do with current social ills and everything to do with punishing the perpetrators of days long gone

A Friend subs at a grade school on Friday and was showing the class the inauguration. A liberal staffer complained and he had to shut it down. Censorship at it's worst.

I think everyone should STFU at work about politics, but it doesn't happen at my workplace. Libs are in a big majority here and they have no problem voicing themselves at work. If a conservative co-worker makes the mistake of expressing themselves, they get shouted down by several others.

Retribution....and redistribution.

There is actually some objective data showing liberals let politics encroach on personal relationships more than conservatives.

The whole "the other side is evil" is one thing I don't think anyone could look at and say it's not worse with lefties.
