It's safe to predict that Delaware's ranking will change after this year's budget crisis. The Delaware chickens are coming home to roost: casino revenues tanking, corporate tax revenues dropping, major businesses leaving the state, escheat statute under attack, elderly population spiking (thanks, NJ and NY :tothehand: ).

Washington has Fairchild AFB, McCord AFB, Fort Lewis, Bangor Trident Sub Base, Whidbey Naval Air Station, 3 national parks, and the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Still 36th.

Until last year, DE had no national park either. We had to cobble one together.
