Why were they 30 some miles away from Spokane? I lnow it was a host location for the mens West regional only because on the JMU board people memtioned it as a place they didn’t want JMU to get sent to due to travel time and cost for fans & JMU would hardly have any fans there. If there wasn’t enough hotel rooms in Spokane the NCAA shouldn’t have set both the men’s and women’s regionals to be in a city with not enough rooms. Idiots (the NCAA)..For a city to host they should have to guarantee that teams will be provided adequate lodging within say 15 or 20 miles of the arena..
There was also a regional youth volleyball tournament going on.

I’m still surprised there wasn’t something closer like in Spokane Valley. CDA is a cool town so maybe they figured the extra drive time was worth it? Regardless, it’s a bad look for both cities as they each promote travel and convention type hospitality.

Liberty Lake even Post Falls are closer and have hotels but they might have been looking for "downtown" locations where people could walk to restaurants. I don't think an entire team wants to hop on a bus and all go to the same place to eat every meal.

And not to be outdone, here comes Michigan.
Michigan State Rep. Matt Maddock (R) falsely accused the Gonzaga University men's basketball team of being "illegal invaders" when he posted a photo of a plane landing at the Detroit Metro Airport on Wednesday night.

"Three busses (sic) just loaded up with illegal invaders at Detroit Metro. Anyone have any idea where they're headed with their police escort?" he tweeted to his 1,800 followers.

When another user suggested the buses might be a basketball team arriving for the NCAA Men's basketball tournament, he responded with "sure kommie (sic). Good talking point."

A judge has found Georgia Republican Party official Brian Pritchard guilty of illegally voting nine times over several years. Pritchard has falsely asserted Democrats had stolen the 2020 election through fraud.

Administrative Law Judge Lisa Boggs wrote in her Wednesday decision that Pritchard, the Georgia GOP’s first vice chairman, violated state election laws by voting while on probation for forgery and other felonies, and that his explanations were neither "credible or convincing."

Pritchard must pay a $5,000 fine and $375.14 in investigative costs incurred by the court. Boggs also ordered that Pritchard “be publicly reprimanded for his conduct” by the State Election Board, which sought the sanctions against him.

Thug had 21 prior arrest and had just gotten released from jail. Never should have been let out. Thug was also shot, unfortunately not fatally.
Just pure insanity in Blue NY

Guy Rivera, 34, allegedly opened fire during a traffic stop conducted by Diller and his partner in Far Rockaway, Queens, at about 5:45 p.m. on Monday on a vehicle illegally parked at a bus stop. Rivera, who was in the passenger seat, allegedly fired first at police, fatally striking Diller in the torso below his protective vest. Rivera was also struck by return fire and reportedly remains hospitalized. Like Rivera, the driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Lindy Jones, also had at least 20 prior arrests, according to New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Oh. Now it's benevolent and a requirement?

I've already stated my stance on this. I would love to see everyone in the World as comfortable as my life, and I realize eggs must be broken to make an omelette, but we are breaking a shit ton of eggs promoting American values around the World.

No. Putin and those who support him are just clearly the bad guys in this instance which is the point you will never admit.

And it’s practically every western democracy who is breaking those eggs right now. Democracy and not invading neighboring countries are values.

Dude. You have no clue what is going on over in Russia and neither do I. Just because you believe you are standing behind some "cause" does not validate your beliefs.

Once again, where was your outrage when the Ukrainian government was killing its own citizens in the Donbass. People were just supposed to sit by and let that continue to happen?

This is the same reasoning you used for COVID. "It's all for a good cause" and now look at the damage that was inflicted by your cause, but yes, you're totally not being mislead at all on this topic. It's totally Putin s fault. Nevermind he put forward multiple offers to minimize the conflict, but was rebuffed.

We must really be implementing Democracy in all the countries we have uninvited military presence.

and notice the difference when a Police Officer dies in the line of duty when compared to a thug dying at the hand of a cop

No national riots
No burning cities
No left wing outrage over the death of a cop

Why don’t we defund the criminals in these pathetic blue cities ?

What to know about the fatal shooting of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller:

Diller, 31, was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens, on March 25, 2024.
Suspect Guy Rivera opened fire on Diller on Monday evening after the cop approached the vehicle Rivera was in for parking in front of a bus stop.
Diller was shot once in the stomach below his bulletproof vest. The married father of a 1-year-old boy was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Rivera was wounded when Diller’s partner returned fire. The suspect has 21 prior arrests and was found to have a shiv stored in his rectum during the shooting — in apparent anticipation of being sent to jail again.
Lindy Jones, the ex-con behind the wheel of the car during the shooting, was also arrested after a second gun was found in his car.
Mayor Eric Adams has renewed his calls for Albany to address criminal recidivism following the shooting involving two suspects with lengthy criminal records.

Gifford was actually holding the head.
You’re saying Trump was actually driving the truck. :dunce:
Because that would be the equivalent of Gifford holding Trumps severed head. Check that, that wouldn’t even be the equivalent, because almost 100% of people would agree that depictiing chopping someone’s head off is far worse than depicting tying someone up.

Griffin isn’t aspiring to be the leader of the free world. Trump posted the Biden pic because he either liked it and/or would appeal to his base.

So Trump on par with a two bit comedian posting a tasteless image I guess?
