Six in 10 Americans say the amount of federal income tax they pay is “too high,” a level last seen in 2001.

The problem is the Biden family’s unspecified gigs with foreign companies appear never to have developed a limiting principle while he was vice president. Now, in the White House, variations on Biden’s reflexive “My son has done nothing wrong” response aren’t going to cut it this time. Comer promises more, and he’s taking direct aim at the not-all-that-plausible excuse that the president is entirely disconnected from the financial arrangements of his family members.

No. Its just you can’t fix stupid, in this case the majority of their population (those who voted for the defund the police guy + those who didn’t bother to vote). And some of those same people will turn around and complain about high crime.

He doesn’t sound like a defund the police guy anymore. Sounds like he’s hiring 200 additional officers and putting money into social services. Isn’t mental health a root cause according to conks?

He’s changed his mind - that’s a good thing, right? Mental health and recovery get at the roots of crime. So does improving economics for the working poor. Treating the cause vs. just the symptoms is also a good thing, no?
