Good. I've done similar valuations (really leaning on my years as an appraiser) and I think I have about 38%. We've only owned it since 2018. Our neighborhood is highly desirable, difficult to get in but when people do, they renovate (like we did). There's a very similar house about 4 streets down for sale at $450; - i'm really hoping it sells for that or close to it.
You’re not in Cali either. My house is up about 30% in 8 years here in San Antonio.
I also bought just as things were coming out of their bottoms here in Sacto. Missed the absolute bottom by a month or two. Pure dumb luck as I got a promotion and relocation back then.

This is the kind of thing that gets the side we need to win for the good of the country right now (i.e., the Democrats) in trouble:

https://mississippitoday.org/2021/06/02 ... of-racism/

There's no racism here. The guy who made the decision is Black. A school guidance counselor did not use the correct metric to determine who was valedictorian and salutatorian. If the correct metric is used, two White students are selected.

Now, if they want to talk about changing the metrics, that is fine. But it looks to me like, if the metric that has been historically used is used, the two White students get the spots.

That's what they do. That is who they are. Yet you think they are needed for the "good of the country".

So interesting to see headlines from different places on the same story. It should be noted the customer was charged for the altercation:

FoxNews: Ohio McDonald's fight: Woman became irate after employees rejected drink request, report says

Daily Mail UK: Seething customer rains blows down on two McDonald's workers in Ohio just because they refuse to mix three flavours for her SLUSHIE

Cleveland 19 News: Woman captured on video attacking McDonald’s employees in Ohio

Then some of the more liberal outlets:

Newsweek: McDonald's Worker Filmed Punching Customer Who Assaulted Staff Over Order

CNN - no story
MSNBC - no story
Vox - no story

Speaking of McDonalds...Perhaps the customer should get a bike.

The bicycle is the slow death of the planet.

General Director of Euro Exim Bank Ltd. got economists thinking when he said:

"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy. He does not pay for insurance policies. He does not buy fuel, does not pay for the necessary maintenance and repairs. He does not use paid parking. He does not cause serious accidents. He does not require multi-lane highways. He does not get fat.
Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).
On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."

Choose carefully: cyclist or McDonald's? It is worth considering.

P.S. Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy bicycles.
Thank you for this Megan Doreen 🙏❤️

Part of that is bullshit. Cyclists cause, and get into, some nasty road accidents. But I take your point.

Cyclists are unAmerican. Most believe in climate change, too.

Now we have the tranny wedding cake. Same as last time- baker lost the opening round..
….Phillips previously won a case before the Supreme Court in 2018 after refusing to make a custom wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

"This case started the day the Supreme Court decided they were going to hear our case. It was a very busy, very crazy day at the shop," Phillips told Fox News exclusively in March. "In the middle of all of this chaos, we got a phone call from an attorney in Denver asking us to create a cake pink on the inside with blue icing on the outside.

"We told the customer, this caller, that this cake was a cake we couldn’t create because of the message, the caller turned around and sued us," Phillips told Fox News. "This customer came to us intentionally to get us to create a cake or deny creating a cake that went against our religious beliefs."

He added: "This customer had been tracking our case for multiple years. This case was just a request to get us to fall into a trap."

The issue is usually not "cyclists" per se, but dipshits riding a bicycle.

You should put an asterisk by equity, since you’re unsure what it means.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago. I even called Comcast to ask why and they acted all stupid. I still can only access via cell.
