The reporting on this is a large chunk of the forest. The NYT stated through their actions that her life isn‘t nearly as important as his..I‘m sure other MSM did similar, but the NYT was the example I heard given today.
How many other people died due to gun violence since then, in just a few days, and 99% of them you and I will never know about. Doesn't mean that we as a society, don't value all of them. Doesn't mean that MSM doesn't think they're all important (or all not important). Just a reality that you can't cover everything everywhere all at once at the same level. And sure, maybe the NYT feels that violence against Blacks is a more important story than violence against Whites.
Again, doesn't really take away from the thrust of my post that we have a problem with the wanton disrespect for anyone other than ourselves too many times.
You mean when a white commits violence against a black. The MSM & NYT could care less about black on black violence, which is like 90+% of black deaths. Wrong narrative for the MSM. What happened to this kid in KC was terrible, but he wasn’t killed. How many blacks in NYC alone in the last year have been killed by other blacks in NYC (much less the hundreds or thousands wounded) and its gets nary a peep from the NYT?

I found that statement entertaining coming from someone who supports a former POTUS who paid a porn star for sex and who sexually assaulted or raped nearly 30 women and everyone knows it.

And after that Greene called Secretary Mayorkas a liar. A Democratic committee member moved to 'take down' Greene's comments and Chair Green agreed. Because her comments were taken down and not stricken, Greene was no longer recognized to speak.

Good chance this is already posted somewhere but I'm too lazy to spend time looking so:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/investig ... g-contest/
MyPillow founder and prominent election denier Mike Lindell made a bold offer ahead of a “cyber symposium” he held in August 2021 in South Dakota: He claimed he had data showing Chinese interference and said he would pay $5 million to anyone who could prove the material was not from the previous year’s U.S. election.

He called the challenge “Prove Mike Wrong.”

On Wednesday, a private arbitration panel ruled that someone did.

The panel said Robert Zeidman, a computer forensics expert and 63-year-old Trump voter from Nevada, was entitled to the $5 million payout.

Zeidman had examined Lindell’s data and concluded that not only did it not prove voter fraud, it also had no connection to the 2020 election. He was the only expert who submitted a claim, arbitration records show.

Lying under oath multiple times before Congress last year makes Mayorkas a liar.

2 Questions:

1) Did they 'take down' Greene's comments taking away her ability to speak or not?

2) Why does lying only matter when there's a Democrat in the White House?

I agree, we should be teaching kids how to think not what to think.

I don't have a problem with a church or other entity having a school and charging tuition to cover costs. I'm not a fan of for-profit educational entities but there is a caveat emptor element to the people naïve enough to give them money.

I saw a list of house members (including MTG) who would lose massive sums of money dedicated to their own districts through Build Back Better if the Republican plan came to fruition.

Maybe they’re taking a principled stand?

Immigration, it's a beautiful thing!

My son was in Math Counts through middle school, and it was striking how when we went to the end of season, county-wide competition, he was a decided minority being one of a small smattering of caucasian kids in a room full of Indian and Asian kids. I'm sure we dominate in the humanities though. :thumb:

Well it sounds like adopting the policies where they are different might be needed as well considering their superior outcomes.

Good catch. Thanks!

This is really sad: https://www.abcactionnews.com/.../gop-p ... hting-woke...
GOP poll: fighting woke ideology more important than protecting Social Security from cuts
Seriously? Have people bought into this ''anti-woke'' demagoguery to THAT extent?

Websters defines ''woke'' as ''aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice).'' So you think making sure people aren't aware of important societal facts and issues is more important than making sure people get what they expect to get from Medicare and Social Security?

Again: Seriously?
