Teens kill man helping pull their car out of ditch

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. —Two teens shot and killed man who helped them pull their SUV out of a ditch Monday night in North Charleston, police say.
Officers say Deon Frasier, 17, and Michael Dupree-Tyler, 19, were arrested at an apartment on Dorchester Road after a gunshot victim was found near the intersection of Durant Avenue and North Jimtown Drive.
The victim was helping two men pull a Dodge Durango out of the ditch around 11 p.m., North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. He said after the victim got the vehicle out of the ditch, the two men robbed and shot him.

It is unfortunate, but interacting with young black males in that area of town carries similar risks to handling copperheads

I was fortunate to see a copperhead when I lived in North Carolina
at that time in my life - I felt like it was probably the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen
Quite possibly the prettiest snake in the south

You're lucky to see one, they are extremely shy and not the slightest bit evil, usually you'd have to step right on on to get bitten since their defense mechanism is to freeze. Now their cousin the cottonmouth....

It is my favorite snake and yes they are beautiful
their venom is no terribly toxic (comparatively speaking)
and about 90% of all people bitten by them were (wait for it) handling them. you can step on them in the eoods and they wont bite

I never saw a copperhead in NC (did nearly step on a Timber rattler once), but in my 8 years living downtown in Greenville I've seen three. All on sidewalks or bike trails. They are some beautiful snakes.

Yeah, McClellanville isn't terribly far. I remember that case, that was the girl that lied to her parents about where she was going. AND it's just another reason why Myrtle Beach is a disgusting sewer.
Btw, Myrtle Beach to McClellanville is about 1.5 hours which makes this more curious as to why she got in the car with people she didn't know.

The only reason to stop in Mclellanville is to get gas when you are heading out of Charleston enroute to Myrtle Beach.
but then there is no reason to go from Charleston to Myrtle Beach so you shouldnt be in Mclellanville at all
unless youre a stripper from North Charleston taking a promotion
