You know what I'm talking about. The Trump thing about the Second Amendment people stopping Hillary. He pretty obviously wasn't talking about stopping her from being elected. He was talking about after she would be elected. But he also pretty obviously was joking.

Just go ahead and say he was joking. Then if people say you shouldn't joke about stuff like that deal with it. But stop the obvious bullshit.

I don't think he was joking. Trump is just such a poorly-spoken doofus clumsily trying to ad lib everything he does that it probably just came out like he wasn't intending it to.

It's more concerning to me that Trump apparently doesn't understand that Clinton can't just erase the second amendment from the constitution.

IMO, Trump was not talking about "votes". IMO, he was joking. He should have never said that.

Trump obviously was talking about shooting her, that's a no-brainer, and that was maybe 50% joke. That being said, why is anyone surprised or outraged? Just him doing his thing.

There's no way that's referring to "the Second Amendment people" stopping Clinton from being elected. He sets up a scenario where she gets to pick judges and there's nothing you can do. Then he makes the crack about maybe the Second Amendment people. He was talking about "the Second Amendment people" maybe being able to do something after the fact.

This is the same old crap that's happened over and over again. Trump says something that causes an uproar then his surrogates swarm out claiming he didn't say what he said or if he said it that's not what he meant.

You, I, and everybody else know what he was saying. We SHOULD know it was a joke but we know what he was saying.

To me the crap of trying to say he didn't say what he said or that he meant something other than what his words conveyed is a lot worse than the actual joke itself.

Alpha, I know you know better than that. You can read English as well as I. That's not what he was referring to. There's no leap at all to get to where I am in the interpretation of what he said. To get where you are you have to ignore the meaning of words in the English language.

Yet he doesn't say kill, shoot or murder in any of the words he chose.

I have no idea as to what you're talking about. But Trump wasn't talking about "Second Amendment people" stopping Clinton or...more precisely...the judges she might appoint before the election. That's just not what he said. This stuff of him saying stuff and people like you pretending he didn't say it is just out of control.
