Great discussion on Friday's Bill Maher. Playing the role of grumpy old dude but with more than a lick of common sense is Retired Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson.

And the last point was Wilkerson asking Maher what he wants us to do. Maher replies with "get real". Wilkerson asks "What does get real even mean?"

Nothing was solved but it was a great debate and I laughed at how quickly Maher ended it.

I guess when Obama claimed his would be the most transparent presidential administration in U.S. history, I think he meant to say "most redacted".

I don't get the point of redacting from a transcript what we already know. It's nasty politics.

Agreed, what are we scared of and how does releasing the full transcript "further his propaganda" when we already know what's being redacted. We shouldn't be afraid of speech in this country so it's always alarming when we are afraid of it.
