Why doesnt your POS president call the act of war in Orlando what is was?

An attack on Americans on our homeland.

I do think the gay community have actually done themselves a disservice by not flying more American flags at vigils and online and insisting on making this a rainbow flag issue. :twocents:

Kinda flies in the face of the "we just want to be treated equality" argument, when they're seperating themselves on this.

During the Dylan Roof shooting, several blacks were upset (and rightfully so) that worldwide support wasn't there with the whole FB flags thing (they wanted to know where the US flags were and calling out people who were using French flags previously.

But we were quick to get the rainbow flags profile pics. :coffee:

This was an American tragedy. The gay community is persecuted all over the world, but only when something happens in the US they get upset...probably because it would require them to be critical of other cultures, which goes against their liberal assumptions that only Americans are wrong at everything they do.

and how many vigils have you been to witness this?

Or are you just relying on what the media is showing.

Newsflash - the media shows what they think will attract views. We saw this often with gay pride parades. There could be 10,000 people dressed like anyone else, and 5 drag queens, and all they show pictures of are the drag queens.

You see what you want to see. Myself, and thousands of other gay Americans have noted that while many of our straight friends were quick to use a French Flag in their profile after the Paris attack, very few did anything to note the Orlando massacre.

As for your last statement - 100% BULLSHIT.

The media is showing videos of the crowd. Hundreds of rainbow flags, can't find an American flag. Jon, I don't have a say in how people grieve and it's not my place to tell them how to do so. I merely stated I see this as a gay vs the world thing and I think it's a lost opportunity for the gay community. It has more of a feel of...

Orlando was an American tragedy......it was an act of war.

You are either American or go fuck yourself with your segregation bullshit. You are not special and you are not better than the next guy.

Trump is incoherent. The question is: Will being totally incoherent work for him in the general election like it did for him during the primaries? Hopefully not.
