CNN Crushing Fox News in Ratings Because...

...of Fox News' Trump sycophant posture. At least that's the opinion expressed in the article at http://www.redstate.com/joesquire/2016/ ... s-ratings/ .
Fox News, meanwhile, has given Donald Trump the level of positive coverage that money could never (legally) buy, and as a result, they’ve dropped in the ratings. It’s no coincidence that as Trump enablers and outright supporters have focused more and more on Trump, their level of appeal has dropped. They don’t have the diversity of panelists CNN has managed to grab, and they don’t have hosts who allow both sides to speak freely.
I Googled to find that because today my brother mentioned he'd heard CNN had overtaken Fox News in ratings. But it's interesting to me because both my wife and I specifically quit watching Fox News because of a Trump worship. The ignoring of the many problems associated with him. Etc. In the process I noticed that CNN appears to be pretty fair and balanced. I have definitely come to believe that CNN, which I had not watched for many years, is the most unbiased of the three cable news networks Fox, MSNBC, and CNN.

A Clintonite thinks that the Clinton News Network isn't biased.

I'm shocked. :coffee:

CNN is really fucking bad. Fair and balanced does not equal accuracy.

There's a whole world of alt news out there, some excellent, some not. It's your job as a thinking person to weed through it and find accuracy. You of all people should be embracing that.

CNN is no prize, but I enjoy seeing O'Reilly and Han-nutty step on their collective dicks -- short as they are.

Selling the NEWS is a business like anything else...
If it's on cable TV then it must (by absolute necessity) be about selling advertising

This is why things like John Oliver can be highly informative and random as f*ck
Because HBO has already secured funding for the programming and time slotted it

CNN and FOX have no such luxury
they are in the daily grind business of moment-by-moment NEWS pedaling
So they sell fear and outrage (it gets viewers)
and creates opinions for people that lack their own
tells people how to feel and what to say

I would say that until recently, msnbc was giving Trump a lot of airtime and a platform than Fox News even did.

So? The point is the same: the manufacture and sale of "public opinion." :coffee:

without question..!!!
The brands you listed are (as I noted earlier) on cable TV
and are in the business of

1) Making money / see: Selling advertising
2) Giving people sound bytes that pass as intellectual currency
