If you completely disregard the disparaging remarks he's made about both groups, sure!

Like I was telling GF, we're in an age of identity politics. Trump could not have come at a worse time.

On top of that, there are plenty of women out there that seem to think electing a woman is the most important thing there is in this election...even though the same ones will say nothing has changed after Hilldog takes office.

I would think that all the LEGAL Mexicans and women(not Latinas) would be all for what Trump is saying.

I'm curious what others are seeing/hearing on the women issue. I look at some of my wife's friends and some of the women I deal with at work. Most of them would likely be more aligned with the Democrats. Several of them like Trump because he's going to keep the dirty Muslins out. The young ones without kids don't like Trump but don't like Hillary either. The middle aged ones with older kids are more likely to like Trump.

Underestimate him at your peril. By normal standard Trump should've dropped out 10 months ago. Somehow, someway, he's not only hanging on but thriving. The longer he sticks around, the more comfortable people get with him. Heck, it was like a love-fest on CNN last night, just like it is every night there's an election result. And all they talk about is Trump. It was hard to realize there was a Democratic primary last night too. Trump sucks the air out of the room, and Hillary could find herself in the same boat all 16 GOP opponents all ended up in - trying to claw back any media coverage in the storm that is Trump.

Yeah GF, CNN was awesome last night. Not only was it a love fest, but they were giving his campaign the best strategies, like focusing on the rust belt and even using campaign bullets like "why do we even accept that this part of the country is called the Rust Belt - let's build it back with the jobs we'll get back from fixing bad Clinton trade agreements". They were drawing out a strategy on the map for him.

CNN is infatuated with Trump. It's almost like they're secretly rooting for the bad guy, like the women who see a mugshot and then start sending letters to death row inmates.

Heck, even David Axlerod was admitting at the end that Trump could really throw the Clinton's out of whack come election time. I wonder if Hillary danced with Trump when she went to his most recent wedding?

That's a pretty staggering gap.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... -do-very-/

I can see Trump in a debate with Hillary.

"I never said we should punish women who get abortions. I love women. They love me. They help us make the babies and stuff. We need to protect women's health."

That facet would be trumped if Susana Martinez (or another female hispanic) was picked as VP .

I heard 2 strategists suggest that the media will win the presidency for Trump because his campaign is new. His political career is new and that'll be what reporters want to cover. That's what will drive ratings.

Meanwhile, tired and old Clinton won't be new or exciting.

Some former Miss Arkansas said in an article yesterday that Slick Willie had a baby dick but was real good with his tongue and fingers:

Hell, maybe Hillary really is just like Bill.

We shall see. I just hope Obama makes sure Hillary doesn't get indicted. If that doesn't happen I think the best bet is that Trump is toast. Nothing is certain. But I think that's the best bet.

Statistically, the GOP had an uphill battle with the electoral map regardless if Trump was nominated or not (I think a few people have explained that here). With Trump's sexism and fear-mongering, it's simply going to be much tougher if not impossible to win now. You NEED the women's vote; they are the largest voting block. And now latinos are signing up in huge numbers to vote and the Dems have been assisting them.

I love this place, but it's not even close to the gender/racial make-up of the US and the concerns those people have. A lot of you guys are having the same tunnel-vision path we saw with the Romney campaign...same type of posts, same type of opinions. But all you simply need to do is follow the demographics and math.

It's easy to get sucked up when you all agree with each other on this forum, but that's not the reality of this nation. Your opinion counts, but the opinions of others equally matter too. :twocents:

So now you are advocating that we let gubmint people get away with breaking the law and abusing their power? :suspicious:

Really dude...take some medication. Or, immerse yourself in the next Hillary rally in your area. Yes, you'd need to bathe afterwards...but it might bring you back to reality.

At this point I am looking at what's best...or at least least worst...for the country. And right now that is to avoid having Trump end up as President. If it means Hillary gets away with something, so be it.

And BTW I think the "abusing their power" thing is going a little overboard when it comes to that e mail server thing. Yes it's true that I would want her nailed for breaking the law regardless if it weren't for the need to make sure Trump doesn't end up as President. But "abusing their power" is a bit much.

Romney?

Who said Romney had any path that any of us followed? :suspicious:

You know, for someone who espouses equality and open minds, you sure do have a closed mind. Again, you have something in you, and it leans towards bigotry, that is screaming out for help. You should get in touch with that anger and hate and stop blaming other people for your feelings.

Rubio, Kasich, and maybe Bush would've had a shot. Of course Trump may have a shot if Hillary gets indicted but I'm talking about if that doesn't happen. But during the entire primary there was this detachment from reality among Republican voters. Consistently they were polled as thinking Trump has the best shot and that is absolutely insane. Trump, from very early on, polled strongly in terms of the Republican primary. But he also, from very early on and continuing to this day, has polled very weakly relative to other Republican candidates when it comes to the general election.

Normal, well adjusted people are not going to vote for that guy. If he does win it'll mean we have an epidemic of mental illness in the United States.

I don't hate anyone and I'm one of the mildest people you'll meet. If the people want Trump to be President, then so be it...I have nothing against that. But I'm simply calling it as I see it.

Just follow the math and follow the demographics. That's all.

ps. I've been fairly pleasant stating my opinions. You're the only one calling me a bigot, angry, etc. I don't mind...you can continue...but just want to point it out.

Ahhh...yes. Let someone get away with breaking the law. That surely goes in the category of those conservative, "values" and, "honesty" you were touting.

Jesus Christ, you are falling apart. But, you have the same values as Hillary...anything to win, right?

It is interesting that people think that name calling is bad, but categorizing people is OK, as long as it is done politely. :dunce:

Supporting Hillary is supporting a race baiting liar. Is THAT what you support?

HER people started the Birther movement. Yes. They. Did.

And HER people were e-mailing the picture of Obama in Muslin garb.

You do realize that, don't you? Tell me you do.

Then tell me you find it genuine, and anything but race divisive, that Hillary goes into an NAACP meeting and calls Trump out for smearing Obama's image with the Birther stuff.

You can't be fvcking serious. :suspicious:

You are backing a psycho who is using your weakness to prop herself up as a savior...to the very people she has ridiculed and insulted for decades. Always been for gay marriage? :suspicious:  Always stood with Blacks? :suspicious:  Always stood with the working class? :suspicious:  A supporter of Muslims? :suspicious:  She's helped put more moderate Muslins in the grave then almost anyone else in our history.

Step back. Break down and analyze her actual actions throughout her career...and stop listening to her sound bites. Open your eyes, man. What Hillary has isn't baggage...it is a load of carefully crafted lies, psychological warfare, really (and no, that isn't going too far) designed to manipulate emotionally vulnerable people.

As for your demographics...your entrenched party bosses have shoved your people out the door and replaced you with the tools of the month. They don't want smart, college educated youth that want results and change. They want angry minorities who will settle for talk. To Clinton, your goals do not matter. Those goals are unattainable in her world and the world of her backers...it would give away too much power. You'll be used and thrown away until the fear mongering will be needed in the next election. Get to the back of the bus, pal...
