Trump Demagoguing/Lying Again

Yes I know another Trump thread but I think it's important to point these things out. Over recent days Donald Trump has been saying the Colorado Republican Party changed its delegate selection process because they didn't want him to win.

Not true (shocker). The delegate selection process did not change. The only thing that changed is that they decided not to hold a non binding straw poll. Why? Because the National Republican Party said that if they held a straw poll the rule would be this:
Any statewide presidential preference vote that permits a choice among candidates for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in a primary, caucuses, or a state convention must be used to allocate and bind the state’s delegation to the national convention in either a proportional or winner-take-all manner, except for delegates and alternate delegates who appear on a ballot in a statewide election and are elected directly by primary voters.
So the Colorado Republican Party dropped the straw poll in order to AVOID changing their actual delegate selection process. I saw a Colorado delegate talk about that on TV then looked it up to verify. Here's one article about it:

https://www.conservativereview.com/comm ... on-march-1

So once again Donald Trump is bullshitting people. And yes I know all politicians bullshit. But Trump is the worst. You look at Politifact for "Pants on Fire" false statements and Donald Trump has 24. Cruz has 7 and Kasich has 3. Clinton has 3 and Sanders has 0.

You get the picture. Trump is the most dishonest of the candidates and it's not close.

Right. BFD that we have a mentally ill, pathological liar that is more likely than not going to be the nominee of one of the two major parties. No big deal at all.

Trump isn't getting the nomination.

But he is going to run third party and cause Cruz to lose.

I wouldn't vote for Cruz in a million years, so this makes me very happy to think about.

Cruz will lose regardless of what Trump does (or does not do)

I'm sure you guys will come up with something but what specifically can you cite about Cruise himself that makes you so concerned about him being President?

I can cite stuff Trump. Like him saying what he said about John McCain's prisoner of war experience. Or the various indications of his emotional immaturity. Like his stalking of a British reporter for 20 years because she made a documentary he didn't like. Like the way he responded to Meghan Kelly. Like him acting like a 12 year old during the Republican debates. Like him acting like a 12 year old after Cruz won Wisconsin. Like a Psychology Today article pointing out how he is an example of childish behavior in adults and asking if we really want a bullying child to be President. Like him being rated as the candidate with by far the highest frequency of false and "pants on fire" statements by Politifact. Like him proposing protectionists policies that would tank the economy. Like him wanting to compromise NATO. So on and so forth.

Again: I'm sure you can come up with stuff. But don't make it stuff like his FATHER is a dominionist. Make it something like he himself insulting every person that's been taken as a prisoner of war while fighting for the United States by virtue of saying something like what Trump said about McCain's prisoner of war experience. Find me something THAT bad that Cruz said and we can discuss it.

Let's start with the fact that Mr. "Anti-Establishment/Anti-Wall Street/Anti-Bailout" is in Goldman Sachs' pocket.

Tom Cruise is certifiable. I wouldn't vote for him. No citation needed.

Oh yeah. Ted Cruz too. ;)

scientology :ohno:

I'm actually surprised that Rafael didn't go full whitey and change his name to Ted Cruise when he came to this country :suspicious:

I'll tell you sort of an odd story: My music taste changed on 9/11. And it's very strange. I actually intellectually find this very curious. But on 9/11, I didn't like how rock music responded. And country music collectively, the way they responded, it resonated with me.

Ted Cruz
One of biggest lies in politics is the lie that Republicans are the party of big business. Big business does great with big government. Big business is very happy to climb in bed with big government. Republicans are and should be the party of small business and of entrepreneurs.

Ted Cruz
I've really had two heroes in my life. My father and Ronald Reagan.

Ted Cruz
We have to stop acquiescing even to the wording that the liberals use. Just think about it. They talk about — in the issue of life, they say ‘pro-life,’ or ‘pro-choice.’ That’s not the right word. It is ‘pro-life’ or ‘pro-death.’ It is ‘pro-life’ or ‘pro-murder.’ And so, it’s just like calling homosexuals ‘gays.’ Gay means happy! You know, it’s just to try to dilute it so that it becomes socially acceptable, and if you say anything against homosexual marriage or anything — ‘Oh, you’re not tolerant.’ So we’re supposed to prostitute our principles, on behalf of tolerance. Well, I’ll tell you what: there are absolutes. There are absolutes. Start being biblically correct, instead of politically correct.

Hillary will win in November - it's a painful truth, but we have to begin to embrace it. So no matter how many dozen anti-Trump threads JSO creates, it really won't matter Nov. 9.

Maybe offended Conks originated the concept of "microaggressions."

The process in Colorado is a bit goofy but Cruz played the game.

I don't see why states have either a caucus or primary where it's either winner take all or a proportional distribution of delegates based on something like precincts won or congressional districts. Colorado didn't do itself any favors changing it up last year.

And let's add that he allowed that stupid Anti-Sex Toy bill in Texas and then fought to keep it. He wants to say what you can and can't buy but then gets upset over Obamacare forcing people to buy a product? :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Rightly or wrongly, the boycott of the Dixie Chicks destroyed their careers, at least in that incarnation. I don't know if any of them were able to get successful solo work. Everything they tried as a band after their incident flopped miserably.

Sometimes it's best just to keep your whore mouth shut. (And I hated Bush too.)

What happened to the them is the beauty of our country. You are free to voice your opinions..just don't expect others to agree with you.

I think they still tour but they haven't released new music in 10 years or so.
