I mean really. Why ask somebody to act like they aren't glad somebody died? It would just be posing if he did it.

Yes. If there is a liberal in power and they die at a time such that there is a chance to replace them with someone who is not liberal I am glad. It's especially true of Supreme Court Justices because of the fact that they can't be removed from office unless they die or decide to retire. Are you glad when liberals die?
That's our John. People have every right to torture their pets too.andy7171 wrote:Disagreeing with someone, getting annoyed with someone or just plain not liking someone is one thing. But I don't think I'd ever be glad someone died. That's pathetic.
So you'd be glad if the pope dies?JohnStOnge wrote:Yes. If there is a liberal in power and they die at a time such that there is a chance to replace them with someone who is not liberal I am glad. I would have been glad, for instance, if Justice Ginsburg had died early in the Bush Administration so that Bush would have had a chance to replace her. If a Republican gets elected to the Presidency next time and the Republicans also hold the Senate I would be thrilled if every single "liberal" Justice on the Court dies early on so there is at least a chance that they will be replaced with Justices who will make at least SOME effort to actually follow the Constitution.
Why lie about stuff like that?
Feel free to browse this thread for some of dbackjon's enlightened beliefs regarding people dying with whom he disagrees.houndawg wrote:That's our John. Neutral on that one. Don't see him as having that much impact. So you'd be glad if the pope dies?
I think that if someone says there are no circumstances in which they would be glad to see someone die they are either lying or they haven't really thought about it.andy7171 wrote:Disagreeing with someone, getting annoyed with someone or just plain not liking someone is one thing. Too nuanced, I suppose. I'm sure Klammy got it tho.Baldy wrote:It was pretty obvious AZ was pointing out gross hypocrisy.Skjellyfetti wrote:You realize that you are playing PC police, right?
