"Police were called to Phu's home in the 3500 block of South Brandon Street on Sunday after someone reported a shooting. Phu died a short time later at the scene.

Investigators are currently looking for Phu's uncle Si Phu, 24, in connection with the case.

"She's just a young kid. She don't have any problem with anybody. She's just a young kid, you know?" said Sam Phu, Christy's uncle.

Phu said there was an argument over Christy's shoes, which led to the fatal shooting."

There are entire multi-square mile segments of Philadelphia that cannot be walked in broad daylight
