And who knew Montana was twice as violent as California and four times as violent as New York?

Just imagine if the media reported every shooting in Detroit, Chicago, and east St. Louis the way they reported any shooting that just happens to be on a campus. Some people would lose their minds.

If my math is correct, I'm pretty sure that means we've lost 1 person in the last 140 years. And wolves count as like .01 people, so that throws the numbers off.

Yeah, I understand the difference, Chiz. I'm just wondering if people talking about how we need to throw up knee-jerk, useless gun laws to stop mass shootings understand the difference. Or if they understand that there's a difference between the NAU and TSU shootings and the "I'm mad at the world so I'm going to shoot anyone in sight" shootings.

What is interesting to me, at least, is the shooter and one of the victims went to the same suburban phoenix-area high school (in a very wealthy part of town) that had another house-party late night shooting a month ago.

In the other shooting, a 21-year old was shot and killed by another 21 year old at a house party just blocks from Mountain Ridge HS. All attended the High School in the past few years.
