I remember a few years back there was another thing like that. I can't remember who it was but they wanted you to watch a long video. I watched some of it and it basically said to buy a farm so you can "live off the land", saying that people like Warren Buffett has been buying farms.

1. No work, no eat

2. Everybody fights if needed

4. I don't have a mule but I do have a mule plow, so Cap'n Cat and D will have to pull it

5. No cops, no lunch, also sodomy

Nice. I've got 2 acres, heavily wooded. Only family is invited. Same rules. Everyone works. I'm hoping to start construction on a house out there by the end of the year*, and when it's done i'll have a chicken coop in addition to the garden we already have.

* You think buying a house is an intrusion on privacy...it gets worst when you build one! I must've talked to 10 different banks before I found a bank that was willing to 1) lend with reasonable interest rates 2) allow the land equity as a down payment and 3) not be a complete dick to me. Surprisingly, a small local bank was willing to do it all. Now if I can just get the damn underwriter to come back with a decision.
