Would you believe Donald Trump? That's according to a liberal Univision poll.

Why? I couldn't even begin to fathom that. But the same poll also has Trump performing the WORST against Hillary.

That disparity sounds kinda odd to me. Of course, I'm the guy who's dead set on Sarah Palin.

Not to me. Most "Latinos" or "Hispanics" or whatever you want to call them aren't Republicans. It's pretty obvious Trump has no shot in the general election. I am wondering whether or not at least one of the other Republicans in the debate tomorrow will bring that up. They should. Somebody ought to say, "Look people, if you nominate this guy you are eliminating any reasonable possibility of keeping the Democrats from holding the White House."

Hillary has issues. She is beatable. But Trump has not shot to do so.

Here's what I think, not that anyone cares... Trump has issues. But he isn't afraid to say what he thinks. He isn't beholden to anyone. He doesn't need money. And that scares the shit out of all the politicians, Conks and Donks. If but for nothing else, he is going to call out and point the finger at people and expose them. All this politician double speak is going to get eliminated until he gets out of the race.
Ideally he would make a great VP attack dog, but he doesn't want to be VP of anything. Who can blame him? It's going to be refreshing while it lasts.

Interesting, JSO. That's a stratagem most often seen in open primary states. I'm not sure I really like it, and I'm also not sure it has a chance of working in closed primary states. It'll certainly be interesting to watch....

You make a great point. Trump can shoot his mouth off, raise the issues and force the real candidates to open up. He has too many important flip flops (universal health care, for one) and some serious policy issues (rouding up all the illegal immigrants). I honestly think he's running just to get politicians to open their mouths and speak some truth.
