Who will make the cut?
19 declared candidates (17 "mainstream"), only ten get to debate Thursday in Cleveland.
Will those below the cut line quit? Doomed?

I would really like to see Fiorina in the debate.
In all likelihood IN:
Trump
Bush
Walker
Cruz
Rubio
Huckabee
On the Bubble (4 will be in, with my picks in bold):
Carson
Christie
Fiorina
Graham
Jindal
Kasich
Pataki
Paul
Perry
Santorum
I'm gonna go out on a pretty sturdy limb and guess the following WON'T make the cut for this debate (name, self-described political bent):
Skip Andrews - Army child and business owner
George Bailey (yes, that's his actual name) - African American Pastor
Michael Bickelmeyer - Creative Dreamer
Kerry Bowers - Veteran and volunteer spokesman for American For Fair Taxation (AFFT)
Eric Cavanagh - American Progressive
Dale Christensen - International entrepeneur and business professional
Brooks Cullison - Attorney AND Certified Public Accountant
John Dummett, Jr. - Constitutional Republican and strong conservative
Mark Everson - Businessman and former IRS commissioner
Jack Fellure - Engineer and perennial candidate
Jim Gilmore - Former governor of Virginia
Jim Hayden - Business owner and veterans' advocate
Chris Hill - Former combat pilot and current airline pilot
Bartholomew James Lower - Businessman
K. Ross Newland - Veteran and pastor
Esteban Oliverez - Entrepreneur
Michael Petyo - Businessman and veteran
Brian Russell - Entrepreneur, innovator, limited government advocate
Jefferson Sherman - Common-sense leader
Shawna Sterling - Woman of faith

Does being governor of Ohio give Kasich an upperhand on being in the debate in Cleveland?

Hey, don't look at me. There's at LEAST five on that list I KNOW I'm not voting for.

The FIRST debate?
No. That was last night in NH, with 14 in attendance and another 3 piped in from Washington.
They all had good things to say. I found it interesting, though, that in many aspects, it was both a love fest and a bash Hillary event. I'm not sure there were enough differences to say that anyone "won" the debate, but I think that Carson, Perry, and Fiorina are at or near the front....

I'd much rather listen to Fiorina's ideas than Kasich.

Agreed. Kasich is too Huntsman-like for my taste.

Perry may be in jail and unavailable to campaign.

I like Kasich (aside from him being from Ohio). He seems to irritate his party.

Don't be acting like Hillary is a shoo-in again like everybody did in '08. She isn't.

Chris Christie is the strongest candidate. Too bad he will never get the nomination.

I didn't even waste my time watching it. I figured I could get a good objective view of what happened from NBC or CNN this morning.

You can disagree with everything they said (I would expect you to as the partisan hack you are) but it was far from boring.
