Ruling will come down in 2 months likely so while the hearing is today, I don't buy that today is really the big day since the briefs and other filings are a lot more important than the 15-30 minutes given to each side to make their case.

The hearing feels like more of a show in most circumstances to me. there may be some minor clarifications made during the hearings but this is not the most important part of the cases.

What will be interesting to see is the fallout from the social conservative Conks. They've been passing laws in preparation, encouraging people to simply not follow the law, etc. It's going to expose them as batshit crazy and they'll spend the next decade recovering.

Only due to a Court Order - if the SCOTUS rules that there is no right to equal marriage, then that can be taken away. Arizona still has a constitutional amendment prohibiting on the books.
