Former one-term Republican Congressman and current conservative pundit Allen West told a group in Texas last week that high school football players are getting injured because there is no state-sponsored Christian prayer in public schools. West also stated that there were no “catastrophic injuries” when he played football as a teenager because pastors prayed before every game.

Actually, he didn't say those things unless there's something he said that's not quoted in that article.
